My heart really goes out to those brave Americans serving as Border Agents. They are treated worse than enemy combatants for daring to do their jobs, what a disgrace.

Well, does this really surprise anyone. The Mexicans know the gringos aren't serious about protecting the border. They feel like they can do whatever they want and their attitude is screw the US just like the attitude of all the illegal invaders here from Mexico.

President Bush cares more about the welfare of any Mexicans over the safety and support of the Border Patrol Agents. Any Border Patrol Agent that injures a Mexican during lawful arrests can expect severe prosecution by a Bush crony. What a disgrace is our Mexican-loving President in this particular subject. Yes, no surprise here. The border agents are part of the U.S. massive buearacracy and a bit behind the times. The White House, weakened so over the years by trying to uphold American traditional values amidst an unbridled onslaught of negative (got that term from Obama's campaigne) popular mass media coverage for everything it has tried, is now no longer capable of continuing to do the same. There has been a marked change in American values. The people in America are definitely in charge. They, no we fear a fight, fear offending anything foreign to such an extent we are willing to put up a scarecrow to show the world, and in particular, show foreigners that America is a good country, a peace loving country. All this theater is indicative of America's new value, and that value is to compromise anything and everything to avoid offending foreigners. America wants peace now. Peace at the expense of our capital and yes our core value - our identity as traditional America willing to defend itself. The new value is everybody is an expert: diplomat, a military strategest, a doctor, and whatever, despite lack of professional knowledge. We do not trust others like we used to; now, we trust foreigner will love us for our peaceful ways. Obama will take care of our borders by compromising America. Lacking knowledge and experience has no affect for he is all, everything to everybody in awe - awesome! It would be a world-wide outrage if our border patrol cut down an incursion onto American territory on the spot, but as long as that doesn't happen, more incursions are on the way. The rest of the world doesn't share our American value of compromise. It encroaches, little by little day by day in every imaginable dimension. When we give up the fight in each of those dimensions through compromise, we project weakness, lack of resolve and lose, while foreigners and other countries are happy to encroach just a little bit more until the time is right. So, you can blame the president but don't forget to blame yourself too.

These slobs should be eliminated. I am sick of this country bending over foreward and backward so as not to "offend" these dump hole, hell hole, crap countries. The next time these ARMED INVADERS cross our borders, send them back in BODY BAGS. Then, and ONLY then, will this garbage stop.

We should just SHOOT them and send them back to Mexico in coffins, and then these incidents would stop immediately. Folks we are in a war on our borders. Muslims coming in through Canada, Mexican militia sashaying into our southwest borders. We have got to do something about this because our lousy government is not doing one thing.

We're finally getting upset about being invaded far too many years after the invasion began. After a gradual invasion of an estimated 12-14 million foreign nationals what are a few armed soldiers here and there? I'm certain that Mexico is just a forgiving to us as we are to them. [NOT!] Close the border and do it NOW! Had we done that 12-14 Million Illegal Immigrants ago we wouldn't be having this discussion. Unfortunately, we'll probably be having it for many years to come. By then, however, it will probably be in Spanish.

America you got what you created! It appears the country I fought and sacrificed for is a thing of the past.I don't know the country I love. The COUNTRY is the PEOPLE! Until we stop voting based on party, agenda, gender ,race ,and emotions it's more of the same! You have to stand up to these politicans COLLECTIVLY and verbally demand what's best for this nation. But this won't happen because something so simple isn't worth the time of the people! This nation is doomed because of it's PEOPLE!

Whatever became of Ramos and Compean ?? Still imprisoned for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler in the butt? Unfortunately, neither McCain or Obama have given any indication that they are serious about securing the border. North American Union, here we come, oh boy!!

the people to our south as well as our north know exactly where our borders are, this is just one more reason we need to enforce a no cross rule when it comes to our nations borders.

As a retired soldier I find it difficult to believe that soldiers don’t know where they are. Not knowing where you are would make it impossible to call for fire, medical support, or anything that involved your life. I support the big fence.

Yea right, a "misunderstanding"!!! Isn't that what results in WAR a misunderstanding between two entities? Heck we're already in a war with these people as they continue to INVADE our contury illegally every day!!!
