U.S. shifts focus from Iraq to Afghanistan, Pakistan

It is obvious that as the Surge in Iraq has worked and put al Qaeda on the run, al Qaeda "soldiers" have run to Afghanistan and Pakistan. That is, the al Qaeda proclaimed "central front" of the War on Terror is now moving and that's a good sign. Thanks to McCain, it is al Qaeda that has retreated from Iraq. If we had listened to Obama and the Democrats like Harry "the war is lost in Iraq" Reid, it would have been the US retreating from Iraq. Once Afghanistan an Pakistan is as unwelcome to al Qaeda as Iraq now is, look for the front to move to Africa.
