John McCain is not the best way out of our economic jam. He admits the economy is not his strong suit. Permanent tax cuts for the rich is not the answer.
I think that Dr. Chuck Baldwin is our best way out of this jam, but the mainstream media have done to him what they did to Reps. Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul during the primary campaigns -- almost no coverage. Thus people do not realize that they have another choice in at least 37 states with the Constitution or American Independent Party. McCain could win this election if he would present a true alternative to Obama, but he supported the bail-out and he continues to "Hispander" even though the majority of the American public did not want the egregious immigration bill he co-authored last year. Although I am a lifelong Republican, and I DO like Sarah Palin, who as VP would break ties in the Senate and go to funerals, I cannot vote for McCain or Obama, both of whom do NOT represent real change.
I agree that McCain likely isn't the strongest economic leader we've got to choose from, but Obama isn't any leader either, and his leanings and lack of votes and stand for much of anything is far less than McCain has.
