A former high-ranking Republican Party official has been indicted on charges he lied to investigators about his role in campaign tricks during New Hampshire's Senate election in 2002. It's the second time James Tobin, 48, of Bangor, Maine, has been indicted on charges stemming from accusations that Republicans sabotaged a Democratic get-out-the-vote effort. That occurred in the race between Republican John E. Sununu and former New Hampshire Gov. Jeanne Shaheen... ----------------- Republicans must be getting lazy if they haven't figured out how to steal this election as well.

Acorn is to Democrats as Diebold is to Republicans. One important thing to keep in mind is Diebold are headquartered in Ohio, so they have a vested interest in pushing this association between Acorn and Democrats to take the tarnish off their own SEEDY reputation. Here's some wiki data on Diebold: On July 31, 2002, Cathy Cox, Georgia's Secretary of State, signed a contract with Diebold, allowing the firm to distribute electronic voting machines throughout the state and design the ballots.[8] In August 2003, Walden O'Dell, then the chief executive of Diebold, announced that he had been a top fund-raiser for President George W. Bush and had sent a get-out-the-funds letter to 100 wealthy and politically inclined friends in the Republican Party, to be held at his home in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio.[9] When assailed by critics for the conflict of interest, he pointed out that the company's election machines division is run out of Texas by a registered Democrat. Nonetheless, he vowed to lower his political profile lest his personal actions harm the company. In December 2005, O'Dell resigned following reports that the company was facing securities fraud litigation surrounding charges of insider trading.[10] In March 2007, it was reported by the Associated Press that Diebold was considering divesting itself of its voting machine subsidiary because it was "widely seen as tarnishing the company's reputation".[5] In August 2007, Wikipedia Scanner found that edits via the company's IP addresses occurred to Diebold's Wikipedia article, removing criticisms of the company's products, references to its CEO's fund-raising for President Bush and other negative criticism from the Wikipedia page about the company in November 2005

Voting Machine Controversy by Julie Carr Smyth COLUMBUS - The head of a company vying to sell voting machines in Ohio told Republicans in a recent fund-raising letter that he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year." The Aug. 14 letter from Walden O'Dell, chief executive of Diebold Inc. - who has become active in the re-election effort of President Bush - prompted Democrats this week to question the propriety of allowing O'Dell's company to calculate votes in the 2004 presidential election. ================ Nothing really changes in GOPper-land.

Barack Obama already set up ACORN to help him steal the election back in Dec. '07' ACORN is stealing the election in battle ground States for Obama. No wonder he is ahead in those States. Unbelievable, watch this video of Obama's promise's to ACORN Dec. 07. "Obama ACORN Smoking Gun - Caught In The Act Here is Barack Obama" http://www.truveo.com/Obama-ACORN-Smokin... This report is a slice of Chicago politics now taken nationwide by those (and they know who they are) who have no respect for the law as written or the American system. In 1960 America went to bed thinking Nixon had won the election including carrying Illinois. In the morning, Kennedy had won Illinois by 20,000 votes and the Presidency. As a Californian, where (except in 19th century San Francisco) elections were historically honest, I was shocked. I asked a friend who had grown up in Chicago how this could have happened. He looked at me as if I were the village idiot and said, "Mayor Daley [the present mayor's father] can fix 20,000 votes faster than he can fix a parking ticket." Did Nixon file suit like Gore did in 2000? No. Politics was a politician's game back then and not a lawyer's game. The politicians had enough respect for the American system that they did not wash their dirty laundry in front of the American public. No more. Whether filing suit because they lose an election or engaging in mass fraud in voter registration so they won't lose an election, the extremist, MoveOn.org core of the Democratic party is demonstrating as it has for years now that it has no respect for the American system or the American people. Obama knows the mantra of Chicago politics: "Vote early and often." Obama and his fanatics know Obama will be elected unless every concerned American, Republicans and genuine Democrats, volunteers at their local polling place to help to verify that the American system is not being trashed by the fraudsters within the Obama campaign. It is not the election that is at stake. It is the very sanctity of the rule of law and all that America means to most Americans and the world.

Barack Obama was legal counsel for ACORN 13 years ago. This year, Obama gave ACORN $80,000. If Obama is clean and does not need ACORN, why pay ACORN with $80,000 campaign money? With Obama’s grant, there is a connection. ACORN is now attempting to dodge any wrongdoing on improper and/or illegal voter registrations. Obama has surrounded himself with less than exceptional leaders of any community. Why did Obama provide ACORN $80,000 from his Presidential campaign? Why did ACORN use convicted felons to fill out voter registrations? Sen. Obama, were you aware convicted felons were working for ACORN on voter registrations? Did Obama provide any taxpayers’ funds from legislated grants to ACORN? Obama should stop any and all campaign and/or taxpayers’ funds to ACORN now. Obama, if you are not guilty, cut any and all funding now; calling for a Federal independent investigation of all the ACORN improper and/or illegal voter registrations. Americans most precious right is the right to vote and be counted appropriately and legally. Should we consider the wacky people whom Obama has become so aggressively friends with? Sen. Obama, come clean. Do not allow ACORN or others to steal my vote or anyone else’s vote.

This article is telling. That Ms Bellantoni is hard pressed to put camp Obama in the victim position in this article with expressions like republicans are "trying" to..." is clear, but once again the situation is bad for Obama simply because facts have to be aired so she deserves credit to doing that. On the other hand, one vote per citizen is an element that must remain sacrosanct. It is not going negative. It is logical that voters know Obama. In today's America with pop culture icons and hopes for life superior to humankind existing somewhere in the cosmos replacing traditional values at an expodential speed, the concept of keeping the vote sacrosanct is apparently not important to Obama the attorney and presidential candidate. We know that in our history votes have been tampered with and bought and such and that is why there are laws, laws to protect this element of our democracy. Mr. Obama is an attorney, is he not? Had he errectly come forth and laid all of his ACORN relationship and activities before American voters and advised ACORN leaders that his would be a legitimate election, it is highly likely ACORN would have respected his advice and cleaned up their illicit activities, but like a common gangster (maybe in good ole Chicago form), he chose parry and delay tacticts, tactics that backed him into this corner, to avoid the unavoidable. The blame cannot be on the McCain side. Even the author, like each of us, is entitled to know that her vote will count and the election, no matter who is elected in the end, is a legitimate outcome. Personally, as an attorney that is required by law to know better, Obama should not only be embarrased by all of this, he should drop out of the race and return to his roots. Every Harvard Law School graduate has to be embarrassed by all of this.

"The ACORN political action committee endorsed Mr. Obama for president, and the group says it is being unfairly smeared for the wrongdoing of a few errant employees." A 'few errant employees', across 10 states (so far), right. George Soros would be proud of that bald-faced lie. ACORN is why Dems have been so upset over the last few elections - they felt they had stolen it fair and square. The Democrats have never left the Tammany style of corrupt politics. All the complaints they make about Republicans are just a standard smoke screen for their own nefarious conduct. If you've ever wondered why Democrats win an election when NO ONE you know votes for them? This is why.

Of course the Democrats are trying to steal the election, that is what they do, they don't believe in democracy, they believe in oligarcy with themselves as the oligarcs.

An ACORN is a NUT. It has a thick cover. It's hard and tough to break, but when you do, it's good for everyone. ACORNs are liked by rodents and pigs. An ACORN needs to be broken open, or buried. An ACORN is a NUT.

Monique is spinning hard, but her "show me an unbiased source" whine is telling. This is the official Obama response to this nationwide scandal: "I'm being smeared by the McCain machine!" The entire legacy media is in bed with Obama, there will be no acceptable (to fanatics like Monique) source for this story. The web is the only place it will play, until after election day. Monique and her despicable 'win-at-any-cost' friends in the Obama camp, and their fellow travelers in the media, are destroying our Republic. They've been doing it for some time. Vote McCain/Palin, send these nutjobs into another crying fit...

Obama=ACORN=AYERS=Chavez=Castro=Socialism. Voters should take DEMs to the cleaners in 2008 like they did to GOP in 2006. Now Mahoney the cheater joins the ranks of corrupt Democrats. Here's the list of corrupt DEMs – John Edwards – cheater and trial lawyer - Jim McGreevey - Former NJ GOV, Elliott Spitzer - former NY Gov, Acevado - Puerto Rico Gov, Kwame Kilpatrick - Detroit Mayor, Jefferson - LA congressman, Chris Dodd – CT Sen – (favorable loan from Wells Fargo) – Laura Richardson (CA-D) – defaulted on at least 3 CA homes and got Wash Mutual to reverse the sale after the fact. Sheila Dixon (D) – Scandalous Baltimore Mayor and the list goes on and on… Obama should be proud. Where's all the media reports claiming a Culture of Corruption in Democratic Party? Hmmm? Seems like we had endless stories in 2006 when it was GOP turn. The media is truly disgraceful.
