"In the United States, socialists joined with others on the Left to build a broad-based, anti-corporate coalition, with the unions at the center, to address the needs of the majority by opposing the excesses of private enterprise." - Democratic Socialists of America, Where We Stand, Section 4. With Obama's current class warfare, redistribute the wealth stand and his support of this initiative, it is pretty obvious that the Democrats are pursuing an agenda to dismantle the Constitution and transform the U.S. to a European style socialism that will be putting us in our rightful place in the global government to government regulated market economy and the New World Order. We are not a parlimentary government and therefore have no ability for a "no confidence" vote and will be stuck with the same government ineffectiveness and the damage it can do for at least four years. Just look at the congressional ratings we have had for the last 4 years. Other than a recall election, we are stuck with blame politics and a congressional ineptitude. The transition will bode very poorly for those not in power at the time. In a two party Republican system, at least half will never have their voices heard. We will become indentured to government social programs that will keep Democrats in power through fear of losing non-union endorsed jobs and entitlements.

The steady decrease in union numbers exposes the Democrat/Liberal mantra of "evil corporations" for what it is. DeMint has one thing wrong. Ford, GM and Chrysler are the "Little 2 1/2". Toyota, Honda and Nissan are The Big Three now. DeMint should offer an amendment to the Democrat's bill. Let the corporation conduct the election and collect the ballots. Amendments usually have names. I propse he call it "The hypocrisy amendment".

RE: Union bosses and their political puppets just can't accept the fact that not all workers want to join labor unions. Yea, until workers get trashed like rented mules or replaced like worn out ball bearings.
