This movie "W" is offensive. Mr. Stone and Hollywood elites do not respect the Office of the President of the United States regardless of who the President is. The fact is we need to respect our own Country is more important.

Stone should have made an old fashioned "short" by documenting The Messiah's Accomplishments. It would have saved a lot of celluloid!

It is not rocket science to trace Hollywood's current political leanings. It's not even long division. Anyone who believes Stone's latest flight from fancy has never seen any of his other fairy tales, disguised as pseudo-docudramas. (Note to lordhavelock: fool me once...I'm a victim...fool me again...I'm a volunteer!)

Another Hollywood, 'Mockumentory'. Stone has degraded himself to the level of Michael Moore.

This is the type of offensive BS we as Americans must punish by refusing to give Hollywood an ounce of respect or one thin dime of our support.

Thanks for the comment, lordhavlock. For the record, I did see a preview screening of the movie.

Mr. Stone has spent his career using falsehoods to dramatize actual events. What a waste of a life. Would that he would act the role of a historian just once and search out the facts from all sides to give the public the truth for once.

For people who dislike Bush they sure do focus on him alot! Bush is gone soon, why do they care? If I didn't like someone, I wouldn't want to go and see a movie no matter how much it makes fun of the person. For this alone, I can't imagine that it will be well attended. Who knows maybe they have a LOVE/HATE for "W".

Oliver Stone thinks that he can re-write history by making up whatever he wants and putting it in movie form. In most circles that's called fiction. The problem is that many stupid Americans will buy this crap, hook line and sinker. The main stream media gets all up in arms if an unknown person in a rally crowd yells out a ONE WORD something connecting Obama to William Ayers. We hear about it for days. It's mentioned on EVERY MSM news broadcast. They want immediate repudiation. Yet nobody in the press says a WORD to defend our sitting president when this TWO HOUR piece of blasphemous fiction comes out. And, they're (of course) already talking Oscar nominations. After losing my respect for the bogus Nobel Peace Prize, now I've lost all respect for the Oscars too. I'm sick and tired of Hollywood celebrating itself. Disappointing.

Where is Stone's movie about the hick from Arkansas who was having his pipes cleaned while the islamic nutjobs were learning to fly but not land jet airliners?????

'empathetic'...nice try Ollie. I'm waiting for your empathetic treatment of the Clintons. I'll pay to see that one.

W is hooey. that sounds about right. left wing lowlifes attack a sitting president that ought to be the title.

"And have you seen the movie Scott...no you haven't. Neither has that idiot Autumn" We've all seen the trailers, we all know what Stone has done with the truth in previous movies. Why whould we spend our money to see more of his trash? You are absurd.

Forget this tripe and go see An American Carol instead (if you can find it).

I'll give Mr. Stone an even better idea for his next movie. How about the Three Stoogies - The Next Generation featuring Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank and Joe Biden. It wouldn't take a lot of research. Joe Biden just told us the other day that the word "Jobs" is a three letter word!
