another friend of obama (FOBO) Too many questions regarding this young person running for the highest office in the land. great orator but not enough experience to tackle this job name me one company in the US that has a president that is 47 with only 6 years with the company. and we want him to run the a country that will influence the world -- I don;t think so.

Move along folks, there's nothing to see here. By the way Palin says she can see Russia from her house and McCain is just like Bush.

This guy, Obama, hangs out with all kinds of thugs. My mama told me that we are known by the company we keep. Obama's company doesn't smell so good. Not presidential material.

If you have any doubt that John McCain is a representative of the 20th century, all you have to do is view the clip from the Chris Matthews show that had the "Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann" calling for a witch hunt of sorts. Yeah, I'm familiar with this Salem retro fear/hysteria card. They do it every presidential election that is competitive. The last presidential election we Democrats we're baby killing gays, (by inference folks), and this election we're baby killing America haters. However I would argue that it is my party that moves America into the 21st century. It is my party that has the capacity to encompass what is the blessing of America--our capacity to agree to disagree, to live side by side though we think differently, to be able to be in peace though our ideologies differ. This is the difference between standing within a forest and looking at a picture of one. We are multi-dimensional. We have the capacity to consider, discern, and process perspectives that are rooted in a genuine, authentic effort for an all encompassing home called America. Those who would narrow what is viewed as patriotic and America loving in an effort to extend partisan purposes is no better that the power seeking theocrats who hung innocents rather that revealing the sham of the Salem witch trials. They are no better than McCarthy and his band of extremists attempting to purge society of their perceived "inconvenient truths." What these folks have not counted on is the sophistication of the American people who are not naive, nor easily beguiled by their dissembling ways. This is another inauthentic ploy of the Republican Party. They do not have any ideas, other than pushing us closer to corporate socialism, therefore they smear--it's what they do best. THEY GOT NOTHING!! Those of us who love America will fight.

Do the democrats really believe that this guy will deliver up anything good for the United States? Could it be that the media and most Hollywood types are so oblivious to reality (since it doesn't make for a good story) that they can't see what his TRUE plans are for this great country if he gets elected? He is anti white - just like his "preacher friend" who obviously molded this guy's mind over 20 years and instilled hate and disdain for white folks (oh, and Oprah will be right there along with him since she is anti-white also). He will set policies into place that will affect us and may never be undone. He could very easily take this great country to war since during his first year in office since he is so open to sitting down with anyone and listenting. Do you ever listen to this guy and wonder just how many lies he tells in one day? This could be the beginning of the end for our great country if he is elected. I don't for one minute believe he ever disavowed his priest who was his best friend and adviser all those years. Oh, and don't you just wonder how much money he paid to Hillary to get her and Bill to talk "nice" about him now? I just bet he paid off all her debts with "our hard earned tax money". After he gets done taking more of our money - he will spread it to those in more need (his interpretation of people in need is people that don't want to work)- you can bet we are in such a financial mess because we had to give money to the "poor" so they could live in houses too - it was the right thing to do according to the democrats. What about having the poor work like the rest of us and earning their own way? This guys is amazing and I think a very dangerous piece of work. He is an elitist just like most of Hollywood - that is why they get along so well. Could it be that they all live in a make-believe world and believe that if they wish hard enough, good things will happen. Thank goodness that the Republicans are "realists" - we don't live in a make-believe world - we can see just how dangerous this guy really is.

Hey, Rezko was just another guy in the neighborhood. After the election, we probably will see the rest of the shoes start dropping. For example, does anyone remember Spiro Agnew the obscure politician who rapidly rose to national prominence?

So much money went through Rezko's and Obamas hands through the years. Keeping the money in the family. Shame Rezko is the Fall guy. Meaning he can't sing on him or else.

I have cast my ballot to the winds of history and voted my conscience and principles. Constitution Party! Which is to say, 'none of the above'. The left is the left and no more needs be said. The repugnicrats fooled me once with Bush-41, shame on them. The repugnicrats fooled me twice with Bush-43 to my undying shame. The GOP will not fool me again.

Past performance - present performance = future performance. Your character and judgment are the byproduct of your upbringing and those you have associated with along lifes journey. One does not CHANGE. He is what he is a cold, far left liberal robot pushng his view of what he believes America should be... Obama give you a hint..The Constitution of the United States is down the block. READ IT! WAKE UP AMERICA...ENTITLEMENTS WILL KILL THIS COUNTRY AS IT CREATES MORE GOVERNMENT...MORE TAXES AT THE EXPENSE OF THE WORKING STIFF. REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH.

Government could not run a hot dog stand for profit even if the customers paid in advance..trust them with money? Only two things I want from government 1) Provide the umbrella of freedom to chart my own course and minimal government intrusion. 2) A saftey net for those in dire need. Nothing for the bottom feeders working the system

'SouthPrarieDeb', you lost me when you used Chris Matthews as a source. If anyone wants to talk about 'cards', ask Bill Clinton or Geraldine Ferraro. Obama's fanatical supporters are just like those girls that accused people of witchcraft in Salem. Joe the Plumber asked a question in a rope line. Chris Matthews and the MSNBC brown shirts attack him to discredit his valid question. Why should Obama impose Socialism and reintroduce welfare after Clinton reformed it? Let's revisit this 95% tax break. First, something like 40% of the tax filers do not pay income tax. If you don't pay income tax, the money coming back is a 'welfare check' (something for nothing). The Obama response is the individual pays a social security tax. The tax is supposed to be a requirement to ultimately receive Social Security benefits. Social Security is not supposed to be a 'welfare' system. Do I think Rezko is a crook? Absolutely, and he's been convicted. Do I think that he and Obama may have cooked the books with the lot next door to Obama's house? It is Chicago, after all!
