McCain calls Obama's tax policy socialism.......this from a man that calls Sarah Palin qualified to be president. Whenever John McCain is speaking on TV, turn it on, and turn the sound down. These trying times the next President must show strong leadership and show 'good judgement' and never blink. Good to see McCain call Obama on Obama's socialism. Joe the Plumber is an American Hero for his role in getting this information out into the open. This race is getting interesting, and there is still plenty of time for the truth to be heard . . starting with Obama's answer to Joe the Plumber. Socialism. Spread the wealth . . Joe's wealth. I'll bet Joe didn't know he would be working harder so that the government could grab his money to redistribute. Now that he knows, I'll bet he is voing for the true hero in this election.

Glad to see McCain pointing to the trend in Obama's campaign. First was the class warfare which is an indicator of socialism. Then Obama's statement about redistributing the wealth. The two are naturally tied together, but most people only think of class warfare as a social separation of rich and poor. Obama has made it a separation of the rich and the middle class and poor, i.e. the rest of society. McCain just linked the social and the financial aspects with Joe the Plumber. Obama's statement about redistribution of wealth is right out of the Democrat Socialists of America playbook - "Social Redistribution. Section 4 If you want to know what it would be like to live under Obama's socialism, just look at the mainstream media scrutiny and portrayal of Obama's relationships as compared to the personal lives of Palin and now Joe the Plumber. Politically what does Palin's daughter's personal life and her husbands driving record have to do with the campaign? Then we get into the history of Joe. There are many to blame for all the problems with the economy...not just Bush. The democratic congress, people who are able to work but choose to live off society, corruption in many large corporations, and on and on. People have gotten so spoiled and greedy. Oh Lord, now they come with the nonsense about socialism. Progressive taxation has been at the centre of American tax policy for decades. Are you really suggesting that people earning over a quarter of a million dollars should pay the same as those earning less than $50,000. This is not about socialism, it is about re-balancing the tax system to make it more fair, not to tilt it yet further in favour of CEOs and millionaires such as Mr Obama and Mr McCain. McCain's policy appears to be "let the good times roll", i.e. continue the policies of the last eight years which have got us into this mess.
