If Barack Obama wins with big Democrat majorities in the House and Senate, you know from their statements that they will increase capital gains and business taxes. But they have already said, there "will be exceptions," - which will be worth billions of dollars to those with prior knowledge of what the exceptions will be. Who do you think will have that prior knowledge? Well, you already told us: King George Soros & the Demon-crats!

It's pretty obvious that we are moving to a regulated market economy. Free market is dead. If Soros and his like (Bilderberg conferencees) have control over the the politicians, then the power of government is essentially corrupted to a global socialistic oligarchy. We are very close. Although Obama has not officially attended a Bilderberg conference, he has made a couple of interesting tours to Europe after winning the primary. One can only assume with Obama you get Soros.

If Obama wins the free market will be dead for the length of time he is in office. Which will be short since he will create a major depression with him and his socialist party cohorts voted out in 2012, then the sensible people (I hope) will set about removing the socialist policies that will be keeping us from recovering.

Here we go again! It seems that, once again, we're going to elect Obama and a bunch of liberal politicians claiming that they're only going to raise taxes on the rich. It's the old "camel's nose in the tent" strategy --- get people to buy off on a little measure that doesn't seem to effect them, and, before they know it, they've got the whole filthy beast in the tent with them. That's how the 1913 income tax measure was advertised as a tax on only the top 0.5% of income earners, and now look at how the tentacles of the IRS extend into every home now. As Rahn alludes, the very wealthiest Americans have the inside knowledge, the income sheltering capability, and the political influence to mold the tax code to their advantage such that they will pay little or no more in taxes under an Obama regime than they did under a Republican administration. Therefore, under Obama, the hardest tax burden will inevitably fall upon those entrepreneurs, small businesses, and farmers who are just getting on the lower rung of true success, wealth, and income expansion. Limousine liberals and the very wealthy know this, and favor liberal policies of higher taxes and greater regulation because these can better be withstood by the very wealthy and large corporations. However, higher taxes and greater regulation work to their advantage because it kills any young, upstart competition from small businesses and entrepreneurs that could, otherwise, innovate, invest, grow, and out-compete these dinosaurs.

My father and grandparents survived the Holocaust, so other Holocaust survivors that achieve great success hold a special place in my heart. In addition to that, Soros has donated over $1B of his personal wealth to foster democracy and open societies, especially in Eastern Europe. You would think all those that claim they love democracy and freedom would hold Soros in the highest regard, ignoring his political leanings. When I see an article that has a picture of Soros with his hair made of money, it's difficult for me to control my anger. I've never seen Buffett, Trump or other non-Jewish moguls depicted as such. Antisemitism, whether overt or covert, have no place in any newspaper. I don't know how to interpret this depiction in any other way, as I'm sure the Times is a proponent of the free markets. If you want to counter that the attack on Soros is in reference to exploiting a situation for personal gain, I'd love to see your caricature of Dick Cheney

When will we stop whining and do what our Forefathers did? At least the Jews prayed themselves into oblivion in Nazi Germany. Americans are going to wring their hands and whine as their country and way of life is taken from them. Remember that 3rd plane that went down on 9/11? There were some real Americans on that flight. They sacrificed their lives to take on the enemy standing before them, and they saved countless others by their actions. We need those guys now.

If you want to counter that the attack on Soros is in reference to exploiting a situation for personal gain, I'd love to see your caricature of Dick Cheney _______________ Regarding the preceding comment, I in no way saw this as anti-semetic, simply anti-greed and a very convincing explanation of why Mr. Soros gets involved in politics. Follow the money, so to speak. Regarding his charitable activities, we are well-advised to recall that Al Capone was quite involved in charities as well. Regarding Dick Cheney, he has served his country well - God bless him.

bigknowz - I dislike Soros' political views. I had no idea he was Jewish. And really, who cares? Why is it that anytime someone opposes a Democrat they are racists and now anti-semites? The fact is that the Democratic party is looking out for George the Financier not Joe the Plumber.
