If they don't, I fear that this country, indeed the entire planet is in serious trouble. This war is really a continuation of the holy wars that began so many thousands of years ago. To ScottDavene, I think that anyone who has eyes and ears can see that the atheist regimes of the 20th century (Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc.) murdered FAR more people than any other "religionists". Far more murder, vastly more, has been committed by those who have no faith in God, than those who do. And while radical Muslims have had their share of killing in the name of "Allah", it pales in comparison to what atheists have done. And what these radicals have done is due to the fact that they are following a false idea of the True God. At least I tend to think that way now that I have studied Obama (your have to do that;otherwise, you don't really know the guy) and know something about him. I also think he will not be good for America overall and I will not vote him. If our country really needs a non-caucasion president, I would happily vote for Michael Steele (of Maryland), Colin Powell, Ms. Rice (very presidential), but not the young Marxist leaning Obama tied to unrependent Ayers, Wright, Chicago political machine, and can't forget the Harvard Law clique (elite of America's elite). People who are voting for Obama remind me of the people who recently signed petitions banning di-hydrogen monoxide. When these unthinking people were told: "di-hydrogen monoxide is found in high concentrations in our rivers and lakes, and that it is used in the production of pesticides and is found in nuclear power plants", these lemmings eagerly signed the petition. When the petitioner tried to explain what di-hydrogen monoxide was to one woman, she brushed her aside and said, "I know all about it, you don't have to tell me anything about it" (as she vigorously signed the petition. One guy, when after signing the petition was told that di-hydrogen monoxide was WATER (2 H, 1 O; or commonly known as H2O ) even tried to argue with the petitioner. When at last as the truth dawned on him that he had been duped, he could only respond with a sheepish smile. Well, being tricked into signing a petition banning water is one thing -- -- being duped into voting for "CHANGE" and ignorantly electing a radical, ultra-liberal, socialist, who will undermine the foundations of our economic system, as well as sell the sovereignty of our nation to the U.N., is completely another. Sheepish grins will not pacify the groans of anguish when our country wakes up and realizes that we have foolishly given our land and our way of life into the hands of an inexperienced, inept and dangerous dreamer, whose only "qualification" is that he is the "first" of his race to gain the Presidency. If we needed to elect a black man to prove that we have progressed as people against the abomination of racism, there are certainly far more able and qualified African Americans than Barack Obama (Alan Keyes to name one).
