A very simple fix to this health care horror is quite simple. The US already has loads of staff and hospital facilities throughout the country. We need federally funded medical clinics. It's quite simple actually, physicians are doing the same thing all ov er the country. If someone has no health care they should be able to go to a federally funded hospital or clinic and pay a sliding fee. Nothing should be free. The government has to stop giving out freebees. Maybe we wouldn't have the financial problems we do if the govt wasn't giving away all our tax dollars to those who don't pay. Even poor people have money to buy cigaretts, beer, etc. I know plently of them. So why should they get free health care? Nothing should be free unless one is disabled. Otherwise, the word is WORK....if you choose not to work, give up the smokes and you can afford healthcare!
Healthcare shouldn't be tabled, because it is very important here in the United States. And unlike those in favor of the Ivy-League illuminati giving government power over everything, I would like to decide where I go with my money for my health.
Accountability on the issues of health care reform and the approach to research to improve health is important. We want to know what the candidates plan to do, and we want it in writing so that we can make sure they are supporting legislation to address the goals they were put in office to accomplish. At http://www.yourcandidatesyourhealth.org the candidates have been given the chance to tell you where they stand, and how they would approach the problems facing our health industry. If your candidate has not responded, it's hard to know what role they envision for themselves in the dialogue. Ask them to let you know, and to respond to the questions before November 4.
