Improving access to health care? Many of the diseases that affect blacks disproportionately are lifestyle diseases. Morbid obesity. Diabetes. AIDS. Chlamydia. And a host of others.

THREE QUESTIONS ABOUT OBAMA POLICY  How can he possibly promise all Americans "the same health care that John McCain and I have from the Senate?" - My doctor says the Senate gets "VIP Healthcare" which costs 10-times the usual premium. This is an obvious exaggeration, or lie. He has criticized McCain's health plan many times, yet no one has ever "vetted" Obama's health plan?  Obama always says "John McCain wants a $300 billion tax cut for the country's wealthiest Americans and Corporations". Those are two completely different groups of taxes - which is it? People or Corporation? If he is just talking about corporations then McCain is doing the right thing and Obama is killing the economy. If it is just "the wealthiest Americans" is the figure far less that $300 billion?  How can any self-respecting Jewish person support Obama? He has the same philosphy as Jimmy Cater does about Palestine, and so many of his early years association were Muslims - Rezko, Al Mansour, Rashid Khalidi, his father and step-father, Raila Odinga. Obama said he would meet with Iran and says they are not a threat.

When did race based affirmative action become a "hot button" issue? When did it override the economy, energy, and national security? It's like national healthcare, our health standards are NOT lower than Europe or Canada. Why do we need to follow their model? Why? Because the Democrats and mainstream media have made it a "hot button" issue and we all know the mainstream media isn't biased, don't we.

more questionable foreign donatioms to McCain revealed! ------------------------- Campaign donor's giving raises questions Little known about man who has sent thousands to GOP By Andrew Zajac, Ray Gibson and Bob Secter | Tribune reporters October 29, 2008 Big campaign donors typically come with deep pockets and influence. But in Illinois this election cycle, no one not running for office himself has given more to the nation's federal campaigns than Shi Sheng Hao of Roselle, a virtual unknown in business and political circles. Before September 2007, Hao's name had never appeared in the 15-year-old federal database of campaign contributors. Since then, however, his donations have topped $120,000 — including $70,100 on a single June day to Republican presidential candidate John McCain. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-donorsoct29,0,1269595.story

By: DTFrankel Cruisemates. I agree. completely w/everything you say, especially what you had to say about self-respecting Jewish people. I AM one. Proudly conservative all of my life, 29yr. old son of a 20yr. retired Navy captain & Vietnam vet. If my Dad were still around today, he'd be throwing foam briks at the TV listening to this charlatan, Obama, speak. Both for his weak, two-faced stance on Jews & Israel & for what Obama would do to his Navy & the military as a whole. Not to mention the whole socialism aspect. You're not alone. There ARE some more of us out there! ------------------ DT - Can you make up your mind what religion you are - last week you said you were a Christian!

RWZ, that's an extremely cowardly post. Equating health issues based on life "choices" and wrapping it up in race is the work of racists. Like much I have seen here I'm appalled that some people think this way in 21st century America. Your type of thinking takes data and then just tosses it out without any analysis....I guess fair is fair. White people are the largest welfare leaches and non-working alcoholics, who cost us the most in health care because of their unhealthy tobacco consumption and other lifestyle choices. Republican voting states are comprised of the highest proportion of welfare recipients. See how easy this is? Whites are statistically the largest group of people on welfare in the United states. Whites statistically have more alcoholics, whites are also the largest group of smokers. Red states have the highest proportion of their population receiving some form of social assistance. Source: http://www.fedstats.gov/ Your post was inflammatory and disingenuous. I'm a 44 Year old Married White woman with 2 teenage daughters.

okie

one can easily see a surge in American business moving their operations to other nations under an Obama White House. If faced with unknown and unlimited costs of doing business under new law. Business would either have to go out of business taking what money was left and running or selling/moving business to nation which does not have these business costs. Exporting nations do not face these costs and American business can not compete under Senator Obama's terms. Although I hate the idea of moving business outside our borders, I understand. If you can not survive doing business by being located in the U.S., then yu have to leave and leave soon.

okie: As a long time resident abroad who's traveled to many countries, I know that many countries welcome American businesses and Americans to their countries to do business employing their quality workforce. With telecom and transportation today, life can be fine. Just export products to America, consumers par excellence. And, for those countries friendly to America there is the added benefit of mutual defense treaties, meaning that American military protects that country from assault by mutual enemies. Plus, natives of those countries really like Americans. They like old American, the one they know from old movies made before Americans began to hate themselves and outwardly show their guilt for being Americans as it is with people in San Franciso, thanks to those ultra liberal unAmericans.
