This is just a preview of what's to come. They're taking plays right out of the communist playbook - eradicating dissent.

The paper should stop whining and stop being so paranoid. You are most likely NOT being persecuted. There's only so much space on a plane. Maybe you should look for room under McCain's bus!

this is messed up, I'm an Obama supporter and I'm pissed (being a journalism major) ...but, The W. Times does sound like a winer and when Pruden misconstrued Obama as a socialist when that is far from the truth, which is to say not objective, might have played a part.

oh yeah, spreading the wealth... that's out of the socialist playbook too! "Social and Economic Justice". Like Obama said last night... he's going to fundamentally change America! Because the fundamentals put in place by our founding fathers aren't good enough for him and must be why his wife has never been proud of America

Now we have the Obama apologists. Were there seats taken from reporters who have written favorable, lap dog articles about Obama. Whiners? I think not. And those who write that the Times are, are typical of the left. They don't know what they are talking about but that doesn't stop them. When McCain wins, These name callers will whine like stuffed pigs. Redistributing the wealth and not liking what the Constitution restricts an elected government to do in that pursuit sounds like communism to me. The Times was wrong, he isn't a socialist, that is just the first step. All the liberals have done for 8 years is WHINE about everything. It is all politics with them. disgusting

This is truly frightening to me... Straight out of the Castro/Chavez playbook. Wake up people. He will try to run this country with a gestapo-like grip. Do you really think we will ever have free elections again if he wins? Hell, we’re not really having a free election this time between ACORN and the American equivalent of Pravda media.

We already are seeing Obamas's Marxism play out in this election, dare to speak out or take a stand against 'The Chosen One' same as Joe the Plumber, the Obama Brownshirts will smear you, boycot you, and if you are a ordinary citizen, broadcast the details of your life to the world. So if Obama is elected, kiss freedom our goodbye people for we are heading for a silent revolution. .

'Twas the night before elections And all through the town Tempers were flaring Emotions all up and down! I, in my bathrobe With a cat in my lap Had cut off the TV Tired of political crap. When all of a sudden There arose such a noise I peered out of my window Saw Obama and his boys They had come for my wallet They wanted my pay To give to the others Who had not worked a day! He snatched up my money And quick as a wink Jumped back on his bandwagon As I gagged from the stink He then rallied his henchmen Who were pulling his cart I could tell they were out To tear my country apart! " On Fannie, on Freddie, On Biden and Ayers! On Acorn, On Pelosi" He screamed at the pairs! They took off for his cause And as he flew out of sight I heard him laugh at the nation Who wouldn't stand up and fight! So I leave you to think On this one final note- IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

All the information about Obama planning to take over our First Amendment of our Constitution is right in American's faces - OPEN YOUR EYES! OBAMA WILL NOT STOP AT THE 1ST AMENDMENT - HE WILL DESTROY OUR COUNTRY!

It figures. Communists and socialists can only keep the masses down by restricting the free press. And they thought W was a dictator!! HA!!

How dare these reporters who were tossed off "The One's' campaign airplane whine! They work for "subversive to the state" news organizations who were not enlightened enough to endorse our great leader. I see old fashion Russian style re-education camps in their future! Gotta straighten out their "stinkin' thinkin'"! Their purgatory is just beginning.

Here's commentary from the Oct. 14 British Spectator that is an eloquent synopsis: "You have to pinch yourself -- Barack Obama, a Marxist radical who all his life has been mentored by, sat at the feet of, worshiped with, befriended, endorsed the philosophy of, funded and been in turn funded, politically promoted and supported by a nexus comprising black power anti-white racists, Jew-haters, revolutionary Marxists, unrepentant former terrorists and Chicago mobsters, is on the verge of becoming President of the United States. And apparently it's considered impolite to say so." Let's pray that the majority of Americans are not beguiled by this novice circus comic who is a slick talker when anchored to a teleprompter with a speech prepared by his handlers. Greg Neubeck

If this occurred once during the campaign I think we could give the W Times a pass on being whiney. However, the Obama campaign exhibits systematic and directed actions to specifically exclude certain media. If we look at them excluding the Times, The NY Post, The Dallas Star, and two local TV anchors who asked difficult questions, then I think we can safely conclude that the campaign is engaging in a Machiavellian control of the media to limit their exposure to unflattering coverage. Lest one call me a right-wing apologist, we must keep in mind that McCain has done this as well as the Bush Administration -- although not to the degree that Obama's campaign has done it. Clearly, we are on a slippery slope of media access and governmental accountability.
