The approach to the issue in this article is irresponsible and insensitive. It turns all of the responsibility over to the government and leaves no responsibility for the families or the individual involved. Insensitive because the justification is tied to economics. If they had no family this would work as sccialism but at least half of this nation believes that you go to your family first and the government last.
"What decision? What choice? Isn't Mrs. Palin a staunch opponent of abortion, even in cases of rape and incest?"
Perhaps she is an opponent of abortion but the choice still exits and it is the daughter's to make.
Apparently this "novice" knows a tad more than the writer.
