"Speaking of God, Mrs. Palin is a serious, practicing Christian, unlike some in the Democratic Party who have studied how to manipulate religious language and imagery to dupe some churchgoers into voting for Mr. Obama."
What? You are actually going to make an argument that there are people that manipulate religious language and imagery...and it's not the evangelical Conservative freaks shows in our country but the Democrats en masse. That is brilliant.
Sarah Palin is much more like the female leaders around the world-not pretentious, a successful multi-tasker with diverse interests. HRC has always been more concerned with image and trying to look/act like she was an upper class Manhattanite rather than a hick state gov's wife (as to experience, running Alaska beats running Arkansas). In the process, she did nothing except promote her image. The contrast with Palin makes HRC look 2-dimensional. Palin's easy self-confidence does recall Maggie Thatcher. Who cares whether she knows the names? That's what all the aides are for.
Sarah Palin is successful and conservative. She solves her own problems. She took on the good old boy network in Alaska (both sides of the aisle) and continues to garner ~90% approval.
The Democrats are scared to death of her, their platforms are collapsing around them at the threat of a capable governor who appeals to the best in people, rather than enabling people to be victims of the "crisis du jour".
Equity feminists are thrilled. Gender feminists are watching their their false advantage evaporate.
