McCain has a good bunch of loyal friends, Joe, Rudy, and other real leaders and independent thinkers. He could put together a great cabinet, and attract talent from both sides of the fence.
I'm not sure where it says in the Constitution that the Vice President is responsible for foreign policy? The President makes decision based on input from his cabinet? If Obama felt he was deficient in experience then that is his choice for the VP. If McCain doesn't feel that was a weakness then that is his choice. Either way, based on Lieberman's statement it looks like McCain is going to use the Reagan, "trust but verify" model for foreign policy. With this in mind, Palin is definitely up to the challenge. This is forming up to be quite a change and quite a lineup for the Republican Party. Good on ya, Joe.
