Since drafted, Jason Campbell has only shown the occasional play that gives hope that he can play at the NFL level. It must be said that he showed little in Joe Gibb's drop back scheme of ultimate protection for QBs, and he has shown less -- much less -- in the much quicker West Coast offense. What is disconcerting is that on the field he carries himself in a way that communicates a lack of urgency, as if his future is not threatened by his lack of production. I think it is safe to say that he does not a future as a starting quarterback without immediate improvement.
