Spittle for Cons to lick up above. Come get your spittle. Only $5 a bottle of Dr. Hateliberals wonder spittle. Makes you angry and empowered to do battle against the hated enemy. Come lick it up. Don;t be left out. Where else can you hate your neighbor and feel so empowered? Lick up a bottle today.

Liberals must consider themselves without sin, for they are surely casting many stones.

David - Let me tell you my experience with social conservatives. My wife and I were members of a regular Republican( we were told who to vote for)Evangelical Lutheran Church since we were toddlers. In our early 20's my wife-to-be became pregnant and we went to the pastor to ask him to marry us. After a complete counseling session he said he would get back to us with an answer. The next Sunday, his sermon was all about our sin. He said "we were an abomination in the eyes of the Lord" amoung many other nasty things. We were mortified. The Congregation was told to never associate with us again and we were told to walk out of the church immediately. All our friends were thus no longer available and none would attend our eventual wedding. I don't want to hear about compassionate republican social conservatives ever again.

Oldpruguy: One bad apple shouldn't spoil the whole bunch. I've had a similar experience in the Lutheran church; once I found a different church it was like night and day. I no longer felt like tainted goods, just an imperfect soul trying to continually improve in the eyes of my Savior. I think it all depends on the leader of the church. KC: Sounds like the DemocrRATs are a little nervous about this one?

Where do you get the idea that anyone would believe that Obama and Biden are using Sarah Palin's family situation to demonstrate to the American people that she is unfit to be VP? Neither one has done so . In my view you are creating a story by association that puts the Democratic ticket for President and Vice-President in the same place as the media. Some of the media look to sensationalize for readership so that they can increase the numbers of people that read or watch them or yes are influence by them. You have used an interesting twist by sensationalizing the sensationalizers. So really what is your point except to use half truths to solidify a base of supporters for the political candidates you support. You haven't distance your own writing from the the type of writing you are criticizing.

Being a Patriotic Conservative I think that Joe Biden does have certain qualities that would perhaps lend him to the job of Vice-President. However the one running for President couldn't qualify to become a Dog Catcher.HW

To OL---Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, knows that the media is liberal and is supporting Obama. The Pew Trust, Rasmussen, all the studies confirm this. So, the answer is no one has to try to make an association between the media and the Democrat ticket. They are the same and we all get that, why can't you?

Uhh...David? You never answered the question as to how Palin's hypocrisy in condemning the sins of others as a "Family-Values Conservative", while she allows her underage, unmarried daughter to continue fornicating is exactly what we can expect from Conservatives like her and you?

RDH

The Democrats just don't get it. Obama especially does not get it. He thinks Americans cling to their religion out of desperation when in reality they do so for inspiration. All his supporters see is Palin's daughter being "punished with a child" rather than being blessed with a baby. Apparently liberals really do believe that sex is bad and needs to be "punished". Except of course when it is between a President and someone's kid (Monica was younger than most of soldiers serving in Iraq Democrats keep calling "kids"). And Obama's bitter remarks seem to apply to kc more than anyone I know. Must hail from a small town.

wellstoned, where did you read that conservatives condemn sinners? I was under the impression that her church teaches forgiving sinners and encouraging good behavior. Where's the conflict? Or is it the fact that there is a standard at all which bothers you. Orwell would be especially amused this week. I don't know what it is that has set the liberal pundits on the warpath with such ferocity, but they seem to be marching into a battle which could prove their undoing.

Unreal. Christian Conservatives DON'T condemn sinners?? Rev. Falwell never said, on his 700 Club Broadcast on Thursday, September 13?? "..I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way--all of them who have tried to secularize America--I point the finger in their face and say "you helped this happen." And Rev. Hagee never said, right after Katrina drowned New Orleans "...I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God, and they are—were recipients of the judgment of God for that. The newspaper carried the story in our local area that was not carried nationally that there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came. And the promise of that parade was that it was going to reach a level of sexuality never demonstrated before in any of the other Gay Pride parades...And I believe that the Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans..."?? THAT'S Where I read it, pal: From their and your own mouths. What bothers me is the hypocrisy and the DOUBLE standard: One for Conservatives, and another one for everybody else. We ARE marching into a culture war, this time armed with truth, the power of change, and plenty of money; and leaving behind for once the outdated, partisan corporate media that brought us 8 years of George W Bush and wants to bring us John McSame and Sarah Paleocon as President. And we will win.
