MG-you should be very very careful when talking about inflated resumes, if you support The One. Now, there's an inflated resume. And it's on the top of the ticket. And speaking of inflation-what about plagiarism (taking credit for something, falsely-e.g., inflating your skills/talent)? That's been Joe Biden's specialty. Please see the NY Times's piece regarding G. Ferrarro's nomination 7/3/84, then get back to us. (p.s.-the wsj reprinted it in Sat.'s edition.) Ciao.

Fournier, a "reporter" for the AP, gives us 10 paragraphs, complete with bullet points, disecting Palin's exaggerations and then, way down at the bottom of the story where most readers never get to, he gives us two paragraphs on Obama. That's not balanced reporting. But it's what I expect from the AP, campaign arm for Democrats.

Resumes don't tell everything. What was Lincoln's? Nervous breakdown at one point; unstable wife; prone to depression; an average, but not exceptional lawyer; 4 time political loser; a man for the ages?

Today's world is relative. Especially in the world of politics. There is however a big difference in executive roles and legislative roles. The decision process for executive does not include "present". When you say or no, the responsibility is not shared with 99 other people. If you say McCain's is legislative also, that would only be half correct. The commanding officer of an aviation squadron is executive to the extent that not just money is involved but the lives of those that serve under him. He alone is held accountable. Executive was the foundation for his legislative experience. The author call it embellishment, I call it earned value in both McCain and Palin.

Rock Bama MC President! Boom chuck-a-luck-a boom-chuck-a-luck-a Sarah Palin should be top o' the ticket.

The writer does not mention the dozens of NATIONAL bills and amendments Obama has sponsored in the U.S. Senate, a position which trumps being governor and small-town mayor. Obama also beats Palin in terms of character and leadership qualities, and vision for our country's future and how to solve NATIONAL problems. Palin is still reading from a teleprompter, even at campaign stops, while Obama ad-libs and connects with people who're hurting because of the last eight years. But in the end, it's Obama versus McCain.

Only someone with French roots could write an article like this. What does 38 years in the Senate actually give you. The answer is nothing. It is like being a tourist in foreiegn policy. Your experience is that you watched other people do foreign plicy. Biden didn't do foreign policy he watched. So lets look at Obama's resume: 1. Student; 2. Community organizer; 3. State legislator (tourist); 4. Freshman Senator (tourist). And lets look at Biden's resume: 1. Student; 2. Senator (tourist) Palin is the only hope for the people of the US. She will bring the only executive experience to the White House and she will bring the only adult supervision to the White House. We are doomed if we look to our Senate for our presidential candidates. McCain, one term under supervision and then Palin for President. That will clean Senators off the fashion list for another generation or two.

This is an outrageously slanted piece of commentary. Just count the lines: the author spends most of the article impugning Governor Palin but just a few references to the hyperbole being used by the democratic operatives to puff their candidates. What about "community organizer"? A "blue collar" background for millionaire Biden? This commentary is part of disturbing trend in the Times that gives priority to articles irrationally attacking Governor Palin. And then the pimping of the democratic team: "58 years of congressional experience between them," but no mention of the complete absence of executive experience or the repeated plagiarism by Joe Biden. And talk about padding: what about all those "present" votes in the legislature for Obama - there should be some meaningful mention of just what his so-called "congressional" experience means. I am tempted to give up on the Times!

At least she's honest. We still haven't penetrated the cover-up surrounding Obama's dealings with the felon Tony Rezko, with his fiscal corruption surrounding the two boards he served on with terrorist Bill Ayers and the $160 million that vanished from the Annenberg Challenge, his "lost years" and time he spent at Columbia, his associations, business partners, etc. There is so much shady dealing going on with Obama that who could possibly risk him in the Oval Office. It's terrifying.

Lets hope McCains choice will cost him the white house because I do not want to see this religious nut that close to being president. Anyone who starts claiming gods work is being done should never be allowed to lead a country. The article was biased, i will give you that, but they are all liars in the end. You want this woman to lead us in foreign affairs? There is a reason she hasnt appeared on any interviews, because she doesnt know anything, period! She must be coached prior to being asked tought questions and I guarantee you her knowledge of the world outside the US (perhaps even Alaska) is very minimal.

The question that I am always wanting to hear answered . How did Obama become a wealthy man as a community organizer? He must have management skills beyond ones imagination.

The ASSociated Press has no credibility. They have evolved from a news organization into a massive left wing propaganda outlet. What 'qualifies' this Ron Fournier to 'analyze' anything, or anyone? What's his background, other than being just another know-nothing, ask stupid questions reporter. I'm sick of the arrogance of the national press. They know a 'little bit' about a lot of inconsequential things, and virtually nothing about the important matters that face this country. For example, the ASSociated Press is one of the global warming myths biggest 'pushers', The people who write their gloom and doom scenarios all believe that CO2 is the cause of global warming, and that man creates CO2, and is therefore guilty of trying to destroy the world for the Stone Agers. And they are flat out WRONG. So what else is new? They back higher prices, ever higher prices for energy, to PUNISH the stinking peasants into giving up cars and their American lifestyle. I guess they think 20 people living in a cubicle in a city slum is the 'way to go' in this country. They IGNORE the fact that 75% of the world's energy comes from fossil fuels, because they are CHEAPER than anything else currently available, and there is NOTHING in sight to replace them. Is that STUPID, or what? The national press is the one that STINKS. They regularly LIE, distort the facts, omit the unfavorable (to them) ones and overwhelmingly seek an America that is styled after the former Soviet Socialist Police State. But then, that's why 99% of them entered the field of endeavor formerly called journalism, and now called propaganda, Goebbels-Refined. They want to change the world for the better, only they have proven time and time again that they don't have the faintest clue as to what's better.
