What's the relationship between Obama and Khalid al Mansour? What's the relationship between Obama and Saudi Arabia? How come the mainstream media NEVER explores the relationships between Obama and Ayers, Obama and al Mansour, and between Obama and Rezko? WHO IS BARACK OBAMA? WTF is happening to our country? We have idiots in the "press", the Fourth Estate, who are in love with Obama.

Good questions SDindependent. Good questions Mariner 1776. I would like to add my questions. What is the full relationship between Obama, the Chicago democrat political machine and Tony Rezko? How many millions were involved in the influence buying between Rezko and Obama?

This is the last gasp of the outdated "Old Media" I grew up when the news was Cronkite and Huntley Brinkley. That was all there was. Then spolied 60's brats who became reporters found out that by slanting stories, exeragating protest crowds and hiding good news they could force a President out of office. Then came the internet and talk radio. Now I can read a Washington paper and one in Atlanta, and one in Delaware. The radio reaches millions of us every day. Bye Bye Cronkite and Huntley Brinkely

The press avoids ANY attempt at competent un-biased journalism when it comes to anything even remotely anti-socialist/liberal. They further shift into yellow journalism as they "report", all in lock-step, on anything not of the Democrat-ilk. With Congressional leaders like Palosi and Reed, there is enough not being done to fill the comic strips but even most of the cartoonists have followed the same ultra-liberal party-line as the newspaper editors and the media bosses. Sad day for America.

"(The man, Mazen Asbahi, resigned in early August after one article about him appeared in the Wall Street Journal. A national security source of mine is still shaking his head in disbelief over ensuing media disinterest in this shocking story.) Actually, he resigned BEFORE the Journal wrote the story and after receiving an inquiry from the paper about what an Internet newsletter had written about his ties to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. The U.S. Brotherhood and its supporters then constructed a spin to suggest that Asbahi was forced out due to a campaign by "extremist right-wing" bloggers even though in reality nothing has been written about him other than what the newsletter had wrote until after his resignation. The same newsletter has subsequently carried much more on these ties and is worth reading for those concerned with these and other national security implications of the Brotherhood: http://globalmbreport.com (free registration) It seems to me that none of the journalists or commentators actually bothered to read the newsletter's original reporting on Asbahi.

In my opinion, this article is offensive and disingenuous. West claims that the press were hard on Palin by asking questions about her baby, but the writer conveniently leaves out the fact that there are other troubling allegations that have emerged about Palin (troopergate, lying about the bridge to nowhere, wanting to ban certain library books, her previous support of Ted Stevens). Even beyond that, it behooves the press to question Palin's qualifications so that she can be properly vetted just like the other candidates. West then claims the press has supposedly given Obama a free pass on Bill Ayers and the Muslim Brotherhood which seems to me a thinly-veiled attempt to resurrect fears about Obama's barely existent, if any, ties with them. Also, about Rezko, he was investigated by Patrick Fitzgerald, one of the most able and dogged prosecutors in the country. It stands to unbiased reason that if Obama was involved in anything corrupt that Fitzgerald would have uncovered it. Most reporters have therefore likely and smartly concluded that there's nothing there. West is apparently resistant to that, perhaps partly to support her flimsy claim of media bias. As long as we're talking about free passes, perhaps the writer should look into why McCain has repeatedly and falsely claimed that Obama will raise taxes and whether the American electorate is well served by such disinformation.

One more thing. I think Ms. West further betrays her bias by her gossipy mention of a "must-read" survey that purportedly shows a widespread assumption throughout the Islamic world that Obama would be a "Pro-Islamic" president and in turn this confirms my belief that her intent is to fearmonger. Word has it that a survey of polar bears, moose, and wolves shows unanimous and fervent agreement that Ms. Palin would be an Anti-critter president. Oh and it's a must read too (but those darn reporters won't take the bait!).

Obama, not going to raise taxes/ How is he going to fund the trillions of dollars of all the programs he wants to implement? Is he going to provide free health care to all? Free college education? Will he pay for them himself? Funds from what source? Rezko types? Does the individual have any responsibilty to work hard to provide for themselves and their families? Why does he insist it is ok to to take from those that have to give to those that have less? This is Marxist thought, not republican thought (no not the republican party dummy!). Americans give more of their income to help others of lesser standing than anyone else in the world--we give to all peoples both at home and abroad. We do it freely! But to think it is ok to tax me to support someone else's life style--it hasn't worked successfully even once since the introduction of communtist doctrine or thought. Not once Obama!

See http://www.nationalenquirer.com/_palin_family_shockers_what_sarahs_really_hiding/celebrity/65407 The NATIONAL ENQUIRER’S exclusive ongoing investigation of GOP VP Nom Sarah 'Barracuda' Palin’s goes far beyond a mere teen pregnancy crisis this week! The Enquirer’s team of reporters has combed the Alaskan wilderness to discover the hidden truth about Gov. Palin’s family, which has become a central part of political identity. The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Sarah's oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it. And as Track, 19, heads to Iraq as part of the U.S. armed forces, Sarah and her husband Todd were powerless to stop his wild antics, detailed in the new issue of The ENQUIRER, which goes on sale today. THE ENQUIRER also has exclusive details about Track's use of other drugs, including cocaine, and his involvement in a notorious local vandalism incident. “I’ve partied with him (Track) for years,” a source disclosed. “I’ve seen him snort cocaine, snort and smoke OxyContin, drink booze and smoke weed.” The source also divulged the girls would do anything for Track and he’d use his local celebrity to manipulate other guys “to get them to steal things he wanted.” “He finally did what a lot of troubled kids here do,” the source divulged. “You join the military.” And as Gov. Palin has billed the state of Alaska for various expenses related to her children, as reported by The Washington Post, The ENQUIRER's investigation reveals that she was so incensed by 17-year-old Bristol's pregnancy that she banished her daughter from the house. Another family friend revealed pre-prego Bristol was as much of a hard partier as Track was. “Bristol was a huge stoner and drinker. I’ve seen her smoke pot and get drunk and make out with so many guys. All the guys would brag that the just made out with Bristol.” When Sarah found out the teen was pregnant by high schooler Levi Johnston, she was actually banished from the house. As part of the cover-up, Palin quickly transferred Bristol to another high school and made her move in with Sarah’s sister Heather 25 miles away! And the ENQUIRER also learned that Levi Johnston, the baby mamma’s future wedded dada, who was glad handed by John McCain at the GOP Convention, isn’t too happy about his impending shotgun nups either. “Levi got dragged out of the house to go to Minnesota,” Levi’s friend told The ENQUIRER. “Levi realizes he’s stuck being with Bristol because her mom is running for Vice President.” The friend also confided that both Bristol and Levi “broke up a few times and they definitely messed around with other people.”

Sarah Palin outed her own daughter to cover rumors about herself, and after the press release and reporters started asking questions about Bristol, then little Sarah said leave my family out of it. Well Honey, you brought em in. Just like taking your hubby to official meetings when govenor.. Diane why don't you ask her about that?
