OBAMA WAS NOT TRYING TO SAY, "JOHN MCCAIN HAS NOT TALKED ABOUT MY CHRISTIAN FAITH." "The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim connections," said Mr. Stephanopoulos, who repeatedly interrupted Mr. Obama during the interview. GEORGE STEPHANOPOLUS IS THE ONE WHO SCREWED UP WHAT SEN. OBAMA WAS TRYING TO SAY. Sen. Obama was trying to agree with George's point that McCain has not talked about his being a Muslim. "Let's not play games," he (OBAMA)said. "What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come." Mr. Stephanopoulos interrupted with, "Christian faith." (DETERMINED TO PLAY GAMES or just plain dumb?) "My Christian faith," Mr. Obama said quickly. "Well, what I'm saying is that he hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either." OBAMA WAS NOT TRYING TO SAY, "JOHN MCCAIN HAS NOT TALKED ABOUT MY CHRISTIAN FAITH." George Interruptus Stephanopolus, confused himself and the issue and, momentarily, the candidate with an interruption that made it SOUND AS IF Obama had misspoken. So Obama made the "correction" George wanted - even though that wasn't what he had been trying to say. And then restated his point in a way George could NOT mis-interpret. Watch the donut, not the hole.

The irony is always to watch the other side of the coin in a similar situation. When McCain slips up, whether it is in the difference in Shia and Sunni, how many houses he owns, or how many thousands per year it costs to send Obama's daughters to private school that he doesn't think our children are good enough to go to - you see it on everything from CNN to Entertainment Tonight. There is very obviously a disproportionate amount of media coverage given to a candidate of a given persuasion. Has anyone discovered how difficult it is to find anything on Biden's lobbyist brother and sons, yet seen how many stories there are on Palin's pregnant teenage daughter? Irony - laced with hypocrisy - how do you like your cup of tea?

Gee- I wonder what happened to all of the other comments that were here this morning?

Funny how he (Obama)always has to be correcting himself on what he says. But when I was listening to him mock the Bible, making fun of scripture, he didn't correct himself. Christians don't mock the Bible. He is not Christian.

Question: Fox network are you bigots and racists? Answer: You ask if ... we are bigots and racists? Conclusion (edited): Fox says "we are bigots and racists." Get it?

Gee...I tried that but with Mr. Obama there's just so much more hole than donut...

WOW! I shouldn't be surprised but I am. Here's more proof that the media is completely slanted! There were over 300 comments this morning and only 3-4 were pro Obama. Everyone was fairly, stating their first amendment rights in an open forum. However, Washington Times yanked all of those comments and now almost all of the comments are pro-Obama. If your candidate is so good, how come you have to pull childish tricks to convince the people of that? Let the people decide. Isn't that the democratic, American way? But then again, you'd have to be American to want that and it's obvious...

No secret can be hidden forever, Obama's Muslim faith will always come up and out.

Nowhere in the left-wing liberal controlled mainstream media (MSM) have they allowed any news that might hurt Obama. However, the MSM are allowing this so-called "Obama is a Muslim" news to be spread about Obama. Who on the Republican side has spread anything suggesting that Barack Obama is a Muslim? Can anyone think of a time they have heard this except by Barack Obama himself? His complaining about something that is now taking place keeps this in the news. Is Barack Obama attempting to make himself a victim, with the help of the left-wing media? Then, spread that some Republican, somewhere is spreading that he is Muslim? Obama needs to stop spreading that lie because he is spreading the word that he is a Muslim. Why is he wasting his time doing this? To make McCain and Republicans appear to be victimizing him. Barack Obama is not a Muslim! Barack Obama is too weak minded to be a Muslim! Obama isn't mentally strong enough and too mentally confused to be a Muslim or Christian ... or President.

Obama has an identity crisis. That is where the issue lies. A slipup like that is a sign of unclear subconscious. How can you trust a guy who is not even sure of who he is? BTW - Obama should know that terrorists don't believe in our constitution and saying their constitutional rights shouldn't be violated tells me he's either on their side or he's full of b.s.

It's odd he didn't say "McCain has never suggested I'm a Muslim." Instead he spoke of Islam as his own faith. Hard for me to think he is being transparent.

http://www.oic-oci.org/oicnew/member_states.asp At this site there are 3 rows of 19 Islamic States that are members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, totalling 57 states. Someone tell Obama that the US has 50 states. There are 57 Islamic States. Obama's got Islam on the mind to the point he's confusing the number of United States with the number of Islamic States.

Dave2, The mistake in the number of states suggest something about Obama's subconscious mind. He slips and says the number of Islamic states instead of the number of United States. He slips and says his "Muslim faith" instead of his Christian faith. To a psychoanalyst this could indicate something. Another example is your references about Trig Palin, yesterday and today. This suggest something about your character and your level of maturity. It could also suggests that you do not have much respect for yourself and are not very happy with your life or yourself. By focusing on Trig Palin suggests you have been emotionally retarded by something that has occurred in your life. Trig Palin is loved and respected by his paerenta and many in our great country. That little boy has many, many God parents wishing and praying for the best for him!
