PALIN IS FLAILIN' Palin and McSame are cut from the same cloth. They are both deceivers, liarsand just like Bush! She is inauthentic; sneaky; and hiding from the media glare that she so sought in the propping up of her gone by, has been, pathetic excuse for a candidate. They are both lying hypocrites: *Torture *The GI Bill *The Bridge to Nowhere *Earmarks *EBay Jet Sale *The Economy (whiners) *Sexism (Hillary vs. Palin) *Celebrity (Cool for Palin, not for Obama) *Abstinence Only Birth Control *Corruption (Palin's cook's redesignated title; her state siphoning stipend as she lived at home; using her power to fire her creepy brother-in-law) Though some of her issues seem debatable, what is not debatable is the fact that she is trying to play the media both ways. Sneering at Obama's celebrity while seeking the celebrity status that MAY catapult her uninteresting has been into the presidency. And on top of all of this, she runs to hide in Alaska, attempting to avoid the media critique that she has been so recently manipulating. A deceiving hypocrite to be sure. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Americans are smarter than your little ploys. You folks are NASTY, and we all know it. You want push back? You're going to get it. We have the AUDACITY OF TRUTH on our side and though you think we're too benign to use it, WE'RE NOT! So get ready, the gloves are coming off, and you just see how long your going to be be able to keep your precious Sarah behind closed doors. Your Rovian tactics are traitorous. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just like Bush, she may have push; But Sarah's going to get kicked in the toush!!

SouthPraireDeb, please...put the boogieman back in the closet. Your cynicism and misinformed perception on Gov. Palin is understandable to an extent and laughable beyond that point. Obamaworld has know idea what they are facing. This is exemplified by their inability to handle McCain's incredible choice as VP on the Republican ticket. Obamaworld can not take a single step without stepping on their own toes. Gov. Palin is a true original from the heartland of America (albeit the great northern heartland). No matter how you try to paint her or allow your perceptions to be manipulated. Sarah Palin is one of the most incredible entries on the political stage in the history of American politics! Time will tell how effective a leader she will become, but mark my word and the word of her opponents in Alaska from both parties...no one in America or the world should under estimate Gov. Palin!

For anyone drinking the Dimocrat cool-aid you need to read this article on Palin that sets the record straight on how she stopped the Bridge to Nowhere, and other pork. It's from the Wall Street Journal, and SouthPraireDeb you need to get your facts straight: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122100927525717663.html?mod=opinion_main_commentaries

SDindependent-repeat after me-intelligent and substantive, intelligent and substantive. Please don't let the polls panic you so much. You are starting to sound rabid.

MG- I think you have given away the meaning of your handle. It has got to stand for "Mostly Garbage" Correct? Please crawl back under your "moveon.org" rock. Thanks.

Tell me, MG, how you'll feel when President McCain revokes the press passes of the children in the media. Who will speak for you then, since you obviously can't put two intelligent sentences together? Go back to Red China where you belong.

"...when people start examining, who's actually going to deliver on the issues that people care about?" "Start examining?!" Obama is in major denial here - this is what an election is all about, from day 1. B. Hussein is closing his eyes, stamping his feet, and covering his ears: "The Palin tsunami is NOT happening, it's NOT happening!" Wah! The disconnect from the Palin wave, and Obama's sprint to higher ground couldn't be more obvious, or amusing. SDIndependent - I thought you were an Obamatoid? Your post below is very positive for the Republicans in my opinion - what's not to like about that mantra? Personally, I'd love to have 4 more years of Bush - but it's even better now: Sort of a 'new and improved Bush, now with Palin Power!' Better get a new meme.

SD, you are off your rocker: The US only spies on citizens if they're chatting with Bin Laden (or, I should say we used to until the Democrats/NYT/WaPo betrayed that most useful TOP SECRET program to the enemy.) Don't know of any citizens being held without trial, maybe you could enlighten us? Personally, I don't think we torture terrorists enough - I say torture them all, to death, if the information gained saves one innocent life, or US/Coalition soldier. Man-up SD, the terrorists would torture you, and then cut off your head in a second. Don't get me started on our hopelessly biased (towards the socialist Democrats) press. In a court of law, today's press would immediately be termed a hostile witness, towards ANY conservative/moderate. Even JFK and FDR would put that scum in jail for undermining US National Security. When our Democrat Congress has a %14 approval rating, is betraying national security every chance they get (deadbeat Biden betrayed the NRO as a matter of fact), refuses to pass any legislation that might lessen their own personal power or socialist ideology, won't lift a finger to lessen our dependency on foreign oil, and practices (hell, is a master at) the politics of personal destruction for any alternative viewpoint, steals Executive privledge every chance they get (Pelosi/Obama/Biden/Sarbanes conducting foreign policy undermining the elected Pres, plays politics with the Pres judicial nominations, outs top secret information, etc.), there's no way you can get anything but a laugh from the average American with that 'centralzing exec power' comment. You're in lockstep with the MoveOn wackos/communists, which of course produce all the DNC talking points you parrot below.

Sounds like SDindependent and MG are getting more and more desparate. Most Americans (and more everyday) are catching on to their loony left moveon.org rants and raves. Also like typical Demorats, they are never inhibited by the truth so thay just make things up or blatantly distort contexts. Sorry wackos, that dog isn't hunting anymore.

SDindependent's post is an example of "Drive-By-Blogging": ADMIRAL MIKE MULLEN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF CHAIRMAN TELLS CONGRESS BUSH MCCAIN POLICY LOSING WAR ON TERROR IN AFGHANISTAN." Did he even READ the article? It is doubtful (and that wasn't even the headline): ------------------------------------ Adm Mullen said: "I'm not convinced we're winning in Afghanistan," adding quickly, "I'm convinced we can." What is needed, he said, is better Afghan governance, more foreign investment, a viable alternative to poppy farming, greater cooperation with Pakistan and more U.S. nonmilitary assistance. "Until we work more closely with the Pakistani government to eliminate the safe havens from which they operate, the enemy will only keep coming," he said. He lauded the efforts of U.S. and allied troops to hunt down the Taliban and other insurgent forces and their progress in training and expanding the number of Afghan security forces." ------------------------------------ Soooo ... can it be better? Yes. But I do seem to recall there is currently a theater of war in Iraq. And that we also got our butts soundly kicked in the Pacific until we secured Europe, in WWII. These words come to mind: I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it.
