Governor Sarah Palin has become the real “Ronald Reagan” of fiscal and social issues for General Election 2008. She knows the issues of the day. Sarah Palin shows very significant knowledge of the enemies within our world and how to stop their spreading of Communism and/or terror. Governor Sarah Palin has demonstrated that she understands the “right” decision on her protection of Israel, at all cost, in the Middle East, as the State of Israel continue to be under attack by militant Islamic groups and some of their nations’ leaders. Israel is the most trusted nation in the Middle East whom the USA can always count on all the time. Sarah Palin is more ready than Obama or Biden for Vice President or President. We can all trust Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin will make a very good Vice President or President.

Sarah Palin is the pick of the conservative voters, the others were the pick of the political bosses, of the two I will take the voters opinion over the political bosses. McCain picking her shows how the nation has changed since 1980, in 1980 the news media forced President Reagan to chose a moderate to balance the ticket, this year the conservative base forced McCain to pick a conservative to balance the ticket.

SDindependent: you should just stop with the farce. Not one of your posts has been critical of Obama-Biden. You're "independent". Right. As for 8 years of the GW Bush presidency and the economy "going to hell" as you put it - Since you didn't pay attention in your civics class, let me remind you: the President proposes, and the Congress disposes. It is the House that has the power of the purse. So at the very least, the Democrat Congress (recent approval rating below 20%) is equally culpable.

... not to mention the fact that you are intellectually dishonest, SD"independent", and it is quite obvious: Karl Rove is in charge of Senator McCain's campaign? Uh huh. Yeah. Let's toss that in with: * Governor Palin cut special needs funding by 62% (she tripled it) * Governor Palin cut funding for teen pregnancy programs (she increased it 175%) * Mayor Palin banned library books (public records prove this false) * Trig Palin is Governor Palin's child. With a candidate who: * has no record of significant accomplishment, or executive experience, * has ties to anti-American Jeremiah Wright, * has ties to left-wing violent radicals William Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn, * being unable to make a decision, as an Illinois senator, voted "present" nearly 140 times ... * when he actually *did* vote, voted three times against a state law that would require medical treatment to babies born alive after a botched abortion ... ... it is no wonder his supporters are reduced to innuendo, smear, and dishonesty.

Republicans in control of Congress for 6 of 8 years in the GW Bush presidency makes no difference in my statement: Congress has screwed this economy, and the Deomcrats have controlled it for the last 2 years. Another week: little of substance from SD"independent". More falsehoods, half-truths, and innuendoes. Your logic is laughable: you think that just by saying something, makes it true.

Conservatives---look before you leap. What do you really know of Palin? Look at the McCain/Palin record that fails to show the empathetic support they promise A non-partisan evaluation by the Children's Defense Fund ranks McCain as one of the 10 worst Senator's on children's issues. In fact, he earned the worst rating of all Senators. http://www.childrensdefense.org/site/DocServer/2007_Scorecard_votes.pdf?docID=6421 The NY Times, the Editorial Board writes about family issues and provides the following facts about Alaska that all of us who care about families should know. Palin has been urged to tackle the following problems in Alaska, but it should be no surprise, Palin has given no response: Alaska is one of a minority of states that fail to fund health insurance for families up to 200 percent of the federal poverty level. Alaska's rape rate is 2.5 times the national average and Alaska is No. 1 in the nation, per capita, in women murdered by men. Alaska leads the nation in the rates of chlamydia and gonorrhea, and has high rates of teen pregnancy. Health-care advocates expressed acute disappointment about the failure of the expansion of Denali Kid Care, which would have covered about 1,200 children, and 530 pregnant women, using only $825,000 of state funding. They said the measure had the strong support of a broad range of constituencies - including hospitals, pharmacists, nurses, women's and religious organizations - but died in committee after the governor rebuffed the advocates' pleas to speak up on its behalf. There are a number of other dismal social indicators that Alaska - with its multibillion dollar state budget surplus - should be hard at work reversing: Alaska ranks near the bottom for providing children's health care. Alaska ranks 43rd in the nation for percentage of children in preschool. Alaska is 39th in the nation for high school graduates; 10 percent of high schoolers drop out. Alaska ranks near the bottom for students completing college and for levels of high school dropouts. Alaska is one of only 11 states without a pay-equity law. Alaska has the nation's highest suicide rate. Palin puts herself out as someone who understands families and will champion them. Her record and her words don't match. http://theboard.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/09/10/governor-palin-and-the-pro-family-agenda/ The electorate deserves to know the facts on who Palin is and what the country could expect is she is elected. The last time we elected a governor from a state that ranked low in several areas he succeeded in bringing the country down to those levels. We can't afford to give McCain/Palin the chance to bring the rest of the country down to the standards maintained in Alaska....

The Republicans have been in charge of both the White House and Congress for 6 of the last 8 years, but yet they don't want to own the problems they created. Rather than proposing solutions over 100 times in the last 2 years the Rep. have blocked efforts by the Dems to try to get this country back on track. Then they blame the Dems. How responsible. Without a super-majority, filibusters paralyze the work of the Congress. Do your homework and see what's happening.

MG claims that Senator Obama does not need executive experience. Really? Executive experience doesn't matter in the Executive branch of government? You might be able to argue that if you admit it at least takes the wisdom and fortitude to make informed decisions ... but Illinois Senator Obama demonstrated he couldn't even do that ("present", "present", "present", ...) MG claims that there's nothing to Senator Obama's pattern of association with Ayres/Dohrn (which is in the public record). Ayres/Dohrn have not renounced their anti-American past and in fact still celebrate it. Why is the Obama-Biden campaign actively attempting to silence reporter Stanley Kurtz on this matter? People agree to be governed for the common good, which includes the protection of the vulnerable and defenseless. But according to MG's logic, LIFE is a RELIGIOUS issue that doesn't fall under the purview of GOVERNANCE. Come again? No laws against murder? Manslaughter? The verifiable truth is that multiple times Illinois Senator Barack Obama voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. No amount of sneering about "religion", or claims to intellectually superior nuanced definitions of "life" can refute that fact.

SHE IS THE W---E OF BABYLON! Revelation 17:1-6;15, thus "One of the seven angels who had poured out the seven bowls came over and spoke to me. “Come with me,” he said, “and I will show you the judgment that is going to come on the great prostitute, who rules over many waters. 2. The kings of the world have committed adultery with her, and the people who belong to this world have been made drunk by the wine of her immorality.” 3. So the angel took me in the Spiritual into the wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that had seven heads and ten horns, and blasphemies against God were written all over it. 4. The woman wore purple and scarlet clothing and beautiful jewelry made of gold and precious gems and pearls. In her hand she held a gold goblet full of obscenities and the impurities of her immorality. 5. A mysterious name was written on her forehead: “Babylon the Great, Mother of All Prostitutes and Obscenities in the World.” 6. I could see that she was drunk—drunk with the blood of God’s holy people who were witnesses for Jesus. I stared at her in complete amazement. 15. Then the angel said to me, “The waters where the prostitute is ruling represent masses of people of every nation and language. 16. The scarlet beast and his ten horns all hate the prostitute. They will strip her naked, eat her flesh, and burn her remains with fire. 17. For God has put a plan into their minds, a plan that will carry out his purposes. They will agree to give their authority to the scarlet beast, and so the words of God will be fulfilled. 18. And this woman you saw in your vision represents the great city that rules over the kings of the world.” I will explain later. STOP HER FIRST!!

For the first six years of this administration the economy was fine. 1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high; 2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon; 3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%. 4) The DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000+ 5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!... But American's wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress & yep--we got 'CHANGE' all right. Since then: 1) Consumer confidence has plummeted; 2) Gasoline is now nearly $4 a gallon; 3) Unemployment is up to 6%; 4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by 12 TRILLION DOLLARS & still dropping; 5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure. 6) Congress approval rating has fallen from 43% to 15% 7) Thousands of American workers have lost their jobs to cheap foreign labor and imported illegal alien labor.
