Seeing & reading on the news the THOUSANDS who chose to ignore the evacuation order....... I'm sorry, but any idoit that chooses to put stubborness in front of safety for themselves or their family, they deserve whatever they get!!

National Weather Service warning: those who don't evacuate "may face certain death." Talk about government double-speak! You either face certain death or you don't. 140,000 chose to ride it out. Why? Partly because of mealy-mouthed gov't spokespeople, partly because of years of listening to the local weather twinkie warn that every downpour was probably the end of the world, and partly because, based on experience, the looters are more dangerous than the hurricane. The govt can't protect us against either, so we might as well take our chances on our own.

Total Logistics Solutions Releases its Inventory Booklet to Ike Disaster Victims Burbank, CA – Sept 18, 2008 – Rene’ Jones, founder and president of Total Logistics Solutions in Burbank, CA, a nationally recognized supply chain / logistics and commercial warehouse inventory management company. Announced today that his company will release its Inventory Booklet to homeowners who had their homes damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Ike. “We realize that the best way for our organization to help homeowners get started on the right course after hurricane Ike and in the rebuilding process, is to make our tools available to the survivors,” said Jones. The user friendly inventory booklet, which is not normally available to the public, can prevent disaster victims from losing thousands of dollars on a substantial home or business insurance claim. Along with the booklet, homeowners will also get access to the online version of Cover Your Assets Inventory Software for 1 year for free, a $79.00 value. . Jones knows quite well the pain of those suffering right now in Texas and Louisiana. In 2004, his home was destroyed by fire. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze, however all of his families’ worldly belongings were destroyed, which left he and his wife in a state of confusion when they began trying to list everything they had lost in the fire for their insurance adjuster. Jones’ long and tedious process with his insurance company, and after only receiving 55% of his final claim, inspired him to want to help others through the inventory process by taking his organizations inventory knowledge from the warehouse and applying it to the living room. CYA-Cover Your Assets is inventory software that allows a homeowner to record their homes contents or a business owner to record the fixed assets of their business. The desktop or online version of the software can be purchased at the company’s website www.itstime2cya.com. Read more at www.itstime2cya.com Total Logistics Solutions, Inc has developed inventory control procedures and software for some of the largest organizations in the country. They have organized and overseen inventories in distribution centers as large as 850k square feet and with as many as 400+ people. The Cover Your Assets division was developed to aid homeowners in the tedious task of inventory and the insurance claims process. Cover Your Assets is not an insurance product, but it is designed to compliment an existing insurance policy.
