What we need to evaluate is the impact of proposed change. If we bailout Fannie May and Freddie Mac and the remaining major industries screaming for help, inconjunction with Obama's tax plan, it will destroy small business initiatives. If you take out small business with government controlling the major corporations you have government to government business, NOT business to business or even corporation to corporation. Either you work for what the government wants or you don't work. "Socialists have historically supported public ownership and control of the major economic institutions of society -- the large corporations -- in order to eliminate the injustice and inequality of a class-based society, and have depended on the the organization of a working class party to gain state power to achieve such ends." - WHERE WE STAND The Political Perspective of the Democratic Socialists of America, Section 4. Right now injustice is defined at $200,000 a year and 28% capital gains with possible windfall profits tax. If they need more justice, they simply lower the tax level.

OBAMA HAS PREACHED SERMONS OF "CHANGE" FOR TWO YEARS --- BUT HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE WILL DO --- AND HOW HE WILL DO IT! HE'S COMING ACROSS AS "MIGHTY MOUTH". HE HAS BEEN ATTACKING OPPONENTS FOR TWO YEARS! THE DNC AND BIASED MAINSTREAM MEDIA HID HIS MORBID PAST UNTIL OVER HALF OF AMERICA HAD VOTED; OTHERWISE, HE WOULD NOT BE IN THIS RACE. HE HIRED LAWYERS TO STOP THE VOTES IN FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN. THEY FINALLY WERE ABLE TO STAB HILLARY IN THE BACK, NOW HE'S GOING AFTER SENATOR JOHN McCAIN AND GOVERNOR PALIN. Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen, speaking on the floor of the House of Representatives: “Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus…. Pontius Pilate was a governor.” The remark is at best too-clever, at worst delusionally offensive. Regardless, in the last few days, the Democrats have called Palin a pig and the murderer of Christ. And she’s only been in the national forum for a couple of weeks! I lament for fellow Democrats who hope to compare the honor and integrity of McCain / Palin with that of Obama / Biden. THIS IS STOOPING TOO LOW AND IT’S A BAD COMPARISON. Jesus is the son of God. He did not need a teleprompter and 300 advisors to get his message out to all people. He never lied to them. Obama, on the other hand, thinks he is God. He has based his entire campaign on lies. Did anyone ever think what might happen if Obama really is a closet Muslim and becomes president? I’M VOTING FOR THE HONORABLE JOHN McCAIN!

The Obama campaign soaring like a wounded wolf already. Who is running a dirty campaign? It's more like Obama "hello"??? I've seen all you guys add and they are not pretty. Who would like to watch them. You democrats make me sick sometimes. I am sorry I don't vote for a party. But I look at the people and more sincere during their talks. Obama is just one BS good talker politician most of the times. He reviewed a bunch of sweet campaign talks during Clinton(horn*) days. Everytime Obama said the words McCain doesn't get it... it's him that doesn't get it. LOL Lies huh... I watched Obama's Biography last weekend and there is a reason why his brain is not functioning correctly lately it's because he was busy smoking DOPES during his school times. Ewww and trying to run for the President??? I don't think that is sound Presidential to me. No thank you for the candidates that dopes is their hobby when they were young. I regret voting for Clinton, and Gore.

Obama rails against special interests. But he courts NARAL, NOW, Labor Unions, the middle class, blacks, women, illegal immigrants, etc. It's another way for him to sound like he is saying something important and standing on principle, but he is only against SOME special interests, like rich people, hard working people, successful people, and the NRA, Libertarians, conservatives, etc. One candidate's special interest is another's base. Every politician must listen to it's base which is made up of various special interests. Railing against special interests is a rhetorical device that is silly and hypocritical.

Yep, you can tell Barrack is on the ropes...fightin' nasty instead of fair and dealing with issues. I can't wait for debates to happen. They are going to have debates aren't they? If it happens McCain will bury Obama.

Uh, McCain will be attacking Obammy's "record" when or if he ever gets around to talking about his connection to a terrorist, etc.

1.) Sen. Obama shines the light on others but is careful to convey no real meaning to his empty phrase "change". He does not seem to have any plan other than to bamboozle the easily-led. 2.) Obama seems incapable of explaining his association with what can only be called shady characters: Ayers, and Rezko to name two. These people scare the daylights out of me! 3.) Obama was nothing more than a rabble rouser in Chicago, a no-show (all those "present" votes!) in Springfield and an overly-opinionated non performer in Washington. Where's the meat Mr. Senator?

Methinks Mr. NØbama is fearful that the McCain campaign is exposing the skeletons in his closet. Having nothing but empty rhetoric to offer in lieu of substance, he has taken to criticism of his opponent to fill time in his speeches and divert the attention of his audience from concern over his numerous flaws.

Sen. Obama is what he is. What you see is what you get except in pre-packaged strawberries. Most liberal Senator with 750+ days of experience with statements such as on abortion/ it is above my pay grade. His judgment with Pastor Wright, Pflegger etc. will haunt him. The man is a tower of jelly swayed by hourly polls in an empty suit. A performer on stage but when on a one to one is lost without pre-canned speeches and staged questions. Reason he will not meet with McCain in Town Hall setting. Obama is showman. Please take your show elsewhere..perhaps to Germany etc. Pathetic to think this is the best the country has to offer on the Democrat side. They had the best candidate but through her under the train then ran over her again on VP slot. IF YOU WERE AN EMPLOYER WHO WOULD YOU HIRE..TEXT BOOK EXPERIENCE OR GROUND LEVEL EXPERIENCE? I REST MY CASE.THIS IS NOT A TIME FOR THIS COUNTRY TO EXPERIENCE ON THE JOB TRAINING.

The appeal of Obama is that he isn't one of those angry black men like Jesse Jackson. If he falls for these attacks and becomes the angry black man and his wife returns to the black woman who was never proud of America, then this race won't even be close. I'm voting for McCain, but I would like to see Obama talk more about the specifics of his plans for change. If this race deteriorates into a shouting match, we all loose.

In all sincerity . . . the man has no record; therefore it is literally impossible for it to be distorted. This totally empty vessel will destroy the Republic . . . wake up people.

ProudAmerican, you are wrong on every count. Barack Obama did NOT hire lawers to stop the Florida or Michigan primary votes. The DNC warned them not to jump ahead in line and asked the candidates not to canvas there once they did. Hillary campaigned there anyway and received the most ineligible votes, but Obama had nothing to do with that process. As for attacks on McCain, by all means, please go to http://www.factcheck.org/ and then tell me what campaign is full of lies. Nobody called Sarah Palin a pig and you know it. This is all about skirting the real issues and bombarding the voters with fictional crap. And it seems to me Jesus was a liberal, helping the sick and the poor. The GOP abandonment of the elderly and even Vietnam veterans is disgusting. John McCain’s integrity is comprised of countless votes against health and mental care for vets: http://www.truthout.org/article/john-mccains-dereliction-duty And as you describe Rep. Cohen’s remarks as ‘Delusionally Offensive’, you then proceed to callously imply than Obama is a closet Muslim. For the record, McCain’s tax initiatives are fiscally impossible without a massive influx of revenue (read taxes) from almost every American, except of course the wealthiest few and the corporations –the very entities Obama thinks should pay their fair share. If McCain wins we will all be taxed tremendously, at which point we’ll be reading here how it’s Nancy Pellosi’s fault.

Let's take a closer look at Barack Obama. Obama, whose father was born into privilege, served as the Senior Economist for a corrupt Kenyan Government; and, advocated a "100% taxation and repossession of land and property against the will of the rightful owner". An ideology that some call Communism. His mother was a radical Marxist. These facts are material since Obama has stated that his mother: "Was the dominant figure in my formative years; and, the values she taught me continue to be my touchstone in the world of politics". -AND- “It was into my father’s image . . . that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself.” Common sense deductive reasoning suggests that Obama's rearing as a child, and his extended 20yr relationships, and obvious conformity, with anti-American fanatics such as Rev. Wright ( the Pastor of his church that promoted the doctrine of Louis Farrakhan and James Cone, the guru of Black Liberation Theology ) ; and, Frank Davis, William Ayers, Gerald Kellman ( a Saul Alinsky protege' who hired Obama as a community organizer), Bernadette Dohrn, Khalid al-Mansour, etc., etc., are in fact reflective of Obama's true psychological makeup. A conclusion rigidly re-enforced by Obama's San Francisco commentary denigrating folks from small-town America. Obama's affinity for questionable associates such as Tony Rezco, a convicted felon, raises a myriad of questions. Further, his increasingly frequent petulant responses to legitimate criticism is troubling. This man's initial refusal to wear an American flag lapel pin and to place his hand over his heart on the singing of our National Anthem are conditioned reflexes from his protracted association with disaffected elements in our society; visual images that Obama is certain to attempt to obfuscate in future campaign appearances; even though, he has openly admitted: "I didn't want to offend Muslims and others who don't like America.". Obama is our "home-grown" version of Hugo Chavez. Further, Michelle Obama's angry commentary directed at our country is telling. Fifty-seven (Islamic) State Obama's comments that he would use U.S. Military Forces against Pakistan, a Nation with a sizable nuclear arsenal, and an ally in the war on terror, even without President Musharraf's permission; a Nation that he mistakenly believed to be Arab; his indecision/confusion as to whether Iran poses a serious regional threat; while in other commentary, stating that he would halt the U.S. military's development of advanced weapons systems; and, drastically reduce our military force structure, demonstrates a profound ignorance of the geopolitical threat environment confronting America. His long-term subversive associations, and his immersion in seditious anti-American diatribe have indeed revealed Obama as the real-life Manchurian Candidate. Greg Neubeck
