Thanks Shelby for that great example of liberal math.
Sara(44) - Track(19) = teenager<p>
Great piece, Andrea, I'm in full agreement with the various points presented in it.
My mother is a retired professor professor, my father was Korean War veteran who worked as a crane and heavy equipment operator, and later as a rail road locomotive engineer, my four brothers and sisters are three medical M.D.s and one IT systems administror. Having always admired and greatly respected my father, like he, as well as all four of his brothers one of whom now runs a bush pilot buisness in Alaska, I enlisted in the military. Presently I work as a roughneck, but have done everything from mining and logging to construction and truck driving. Fourteen of my years were devoted to fire fighting.
It shouldn't come as a suprise that I like the Palins a lot. The Palins are normal, just like us, and the thousands of other wholesome middle-America families I've known. And nothing like any other Washington politicians families we've seen. Finally, we have a chance of really having someone in there, occupying the office next to the highest office in the land, who can relate to us average Americans.
Indeed, the Palins are definately worth getting excited about!
My husband has been a union man all his life and he has never listened to the unions propaganda about who to vote for. My Teamster husband is voting for McCain Palin because they will shake up Washington and put the people back in charge. I look forward to seeing the fed check book online. Now that's being responsible. Working Mom with 5 kids in Illinois.
The Palins represent my values more than any Politician in my lifetime (62 years old). From Sarah's political views to Todd's gusto for life. I will vote for them this year and in eight years for Sarah as President.
