Yushchenko advocates NATO as balance

For NATO membership Mr. Yushchenko must have the consent of the Ukrainian people in a referendum.

If the Ukraine and Georgia aren't admitted to NATO, then Czar Putin and his puppets will have been given a green light to attack and conquer them. Remember Czar Putin is trying to rebuild the Russian Empire, and wants to do it rather quickly.

It seems that Europe prefers to have the Russian bear return. It feels better having the Russians at it's direct borders. Then Europe will be begging the US to protect their borders. We should make it clear that Europe must defend itself if this happens. Turning down an ally that will be replaced by the bear is stupid. Europe deserves whatever it gets for it's head in the sand approach to problems. Look at the mess it is in now with it's Muslim growth. As long as today's Euro is up they are content to sit by the fire.

Collective security? Collective security equates to the dissolution of NATO which will progress the neutralization of Western Europe, which removes any obstacle for Soviet expansion(invasion). I wonder how long it will take this time before Euro communist France and Italy beg for our help when they see a hammer & sickle banner hanging from the Eiffel tower and Sistine Chapel. I strongly suggest Chancellor Merkel talk with the older generation on how well the Soviet occupation of Germany went. They banned the pro German Nazi Party but left the reason the Nazi party was formed in the first place, to prevent the rape of Germany & Europe by the Russian communists.
