Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich joins The Washington Times for a live chat at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22.

Chairman of the Gingrich Group, a communications and consulting firm in Atlanta and Washington, Mr. Gingrich also serves as the general chairman of American Solutions for Winning the Future (www.americansolutions.com); a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute; a distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University; co-chairman, with former Sen. Bob Kerrey, of the National Commission for Quality Long-term Care; and an honorary chairman of the NanoBusiness Alliance. In addition, he is a news and political analyst for the Fox News Channel.

Recognized internationally as an expert on world history, military issues and international affairs, Mr. Gingrich serves as a member of the Defense Policy Board, a distinguished visiting scholar and professor at the National Defense University, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Terrorism Task Force. He recently was named co-chair of the U.N. Task Force, a bipartisan congressional effort to reform the United Nations.
