Being one of the average people described here, I fit very well the overall picture of what average is in America. I feel that Mrs. Palin would represent me well being one of my kind, having the same values as I have and being strong enough to stand up for what she believes in. I'm not afraid to elect a woman to this position or to the presidency for that fact, but it has to be the RIGHT woman. The shame holds true for men, I'd want the RIGHT man there, and there have been very few that fit the mold that has been described here. Long live the American dream!!!
Sarah Palin is an excellent choice for the office to which she aspires.
She values life in a way that is completely indisputable.
She will be an outstanding advocate for special needs children.
The White House will be a much better place for her presence.

The people of america are leaving churches in droves, the population is becoming increasingly urban, and more people than ever have advanced degrees. So why is the common refrain that Palin is so common. I don't identify with her and only know a few people like her. How does she connect with the people of today? People who play video games instead of hunt, have 2.1 children not 5, and live in fairly large city not a remote rural area. She seems like a fine lady but she does not appear to be a typical american.
