Is there any chance the Lerner's see the error of their ways? Is there any chance they will change?

Pathetic. That's the word to describe the Nationals. They have continually spat in the faces of their fans, and they expect us to continue to show up or come back? They give us no marquee players to cheer for, and when we do have one (soriano) they trade him away for peanuts. They insult our collective baseball intelligence by feeding us BS about how the stadium will sell itself and that they don't "need" marquee FAs, and then are surprised when people stop showing up? The stadium itself is subpar, when compared to stadiums like PacBell in SF, Camden in Baltimore, and even CoAmerica in Detroit. This doesn't even mention the escalating costs of season tickets, the decrease in fan experience, and horrible parking situation. One of the small pleasures I've had in taking my kids out to the games is taking them down to watch BP and get autographs from players. They have totally taken this away with Nazi ushers and zillion dollar box seats that are never filled. NEver again. I'd rather drive the 1 hour up to Baltimore and support them. While they may have an equally horrible team, at least they have a stadium I enjoy going to.

The Lerners are the worst owners in DC not named Snyder! Seriously, does any city in the US have worse owners of its major sports franchises than we do here in DC? Lets see, Snyder, awful, Lerner, awful, Polin, horrid and even Ted has been suspended for literally beating a fan!

I quit going at mid season and that was too long! Not wasting my money on the so called "Season we've been waiting for"! They are a joke and Bowden needs to be run out of town also! Rather watch reruns on T.V.!

"The stadium itself is subpar, when compared to stadiums like PacBell in SF, Camden in Baltimore, and even CoAmerica in Detroit." Finally, let's get the word out that the new stadium is a dog by new stadium standards. Its stark, barren, looks cheap, and is completlely devoid of character. What is most distressing is that the same firm who designed Camdem Yards designed our place. Guess they got tired of hitting home runs by churning out Camden clones. Large municipal projects are usually the chance architects get to flex their creative muscles and design to esthetics rather than cost. Well, we have a stadium that looks just like the sea of cast concrete and glass box ofiice buildings throughout the metro area. They're built that way because its the least costly. In my opinion, HOK has struck out with this one, much like a Nats pitcher trying to bunt. If this Euro see-through soccer stadium idea is the rage of the future, why are 2 new ball parks going up in New York that are stylized copies of Yankee Stadium and Ebbets Field? There is nothing about Nationals stadium that makes it an attraction in and of itself. I'm tired of all the beautiful new ball park blather. It most certainly is not. The ball park bump is marginal because the park is pedestrian at best and in a bad location to get to. They better start concentrating on putting a good team on the field to put more fannies in the seats.

I feel that the stadium itself is nice but like the team it has no energy, identity, or ambiance. I attended a Mets game at PNC Park in Pittsburgh and it was phenomenal despite the home team being years away from competing for the playoffs. The Lerners or specifically Bowden is trying to sell DC on rooting for "good guys" such as Dukes & Milledge. The only star player they've ever had was Soriano and they let him walk because they did not want to pony up the $$$ just like their 1st round pick this year. In this economy, who in their right mind is going to pay Major League ticket prices for a "minor league" product?
