McCain's instincts in a time of crisis were clear in his behavior during the Savings and Loan crisis in the 1980s-- that's when he puts friends and donors first, not his country. Now he somehow can say with a straight face that HE is the one to change Washington-- the same guy who has been part of the group running Congress for most of the past 14 years and with the President all of the past 8 years. As for this ad-if it weren't so laughable it would be criminal. McCain's long list of associations with the lobbyist inner sanctum and the likes of convicted felon Charles Keating.

McCain was reprimanded for poor Judgement,as a member of the Keating 5 saving and loan/scandal, as I recall! He is not right! http://www.squidoo.com/double_speak

Politicians create problems, then campaign against them! McCain was knee deep in this but so are the Dems who insisted that poor black inner city etc be give loans that would never be repaid. Rule 1: anyone who wants to be President should be disqualified. Let's jut name the next powerball winner President, let him pick someone anyone for Vice President and go from there. Senators and Congressman can be picked the same way and given 2 year sentences (er terms) and never be allowed to serve again.

Without evil there would be no good. Yesterday local news medias around the country reported that mccain is running the most lie filled campaigne in modern US history. This coming from the same man who ran the campaignes for our current President. It would be actually laughable if running our country were not at stake. Here we have a man who picked a woman who is intentionally stalling an investigation against her (his advice,by the way) in her home state talking about corruption. Who, two days ago on a CNBC interview, said that his plan to restore our economy is to appoint a panel composed of the very same types of special interests people who sucked the money out of the economy in the first place. Can there be any doubt about whats going to happen if mccain/palin makes it to the White House? Maybe, after we become the United Company of America, people will decide that the past eight years were the forerunners of the destruction of our great nation.

The voters have been allowed to forget that McCain was at the center of the Keating Five scandal. McCain is the pot calling the kettle... well, you get the idea. This kind of twisted, dirty campaign is going to get him what McCain so richly deserves: Retirement!

The Keating 5 was four Democrats and John McCain. Like McCain, John Glenn was cleared of any wrong doing by the ethics committee (that is it was political). The other three Democrats were not so lucky with Cranston being severly reprimanded (wow I get that hurt) by the ethics committee for interferring with an investigation. Only a Democrat could point to Democratic corruption as an argument against a Republican.

HERE ARE SOME HARD FACTS TO COUNTER ALL THIS DEMOCRATIC SPIN B.S. Senator McCain sponsored Senate Bill # 190 back in 2005 that raised the alarm about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and requested immediate action to resolve this pending time bomb. The Democrats blocked this bill with Senators Dodd, Clinton and none other than Obama leading that charge against it. What is even worse is that these three were also the top recipients of political contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Unbelievably despicable. Why isn't the MSM all over this. These are hard facts and are easily checked out.

How can anyone with an ounce of common sense back McBush when his word is worth absolutely nothing? Jiffers www.anonymize.us.tc

You don't come up in Chicago politics and make it to the Senate without being part of the corrupt machine. We all know this but the Democrats will try and tell us this isn't true. Bull, of course it is true, just look at Obama's actions since he was nominated, he has started moving offices to Chicago where the machine people are filling them, if he is elected his administration will be more corrupt then the Clintons were.

In spite of the determined attempts of the Obama handlers to obfuscate the details concerning Obama's subversive background, more and more Americans are seeing thru the Obama charade; and, are making an objective appraisal based on their own intelligence of the historical facts which are irrefutable. Obama is neither Christian nor Muslim. Unless he has had one of his very frequent epiphanies in the last week or two, he is a disciple and practitioner of Black Liberation Theology whose tenants have been amply articulated by Jeremiah Wright and James Cone. For 20yrs. Obama, under the tutorial of the fanatical Reverend Wright, immersed himself and his family in Black Liberation Theology, a Marxist derivative which rejects Christianity; and, which professes that the White race is equivalent to the Devil. It's amazing that anyone would be shocked at Obama's perverted view of the Bible, concerning which Obama recently publicly mocked Jesus Christ's "Sermon On The Mount". Rev. Wright's mentor, Black Liberation theologian, James Cone, in his book "For My People" states: "The Christian faith does not possess in its nature the means for analyzing the structure of capitalism. Marxism, as a tool of social analysis, can disclose the gap between appearance and reality, and thereby help Christians to see how things really are." It is this logic, reinforced by his mother who was an avowed Marxist, which has schooled Obama to seek economic parity in America thru income redistribution; i.e. Marxist Socialism; and, is an overriding theme of his campaign. Obama's repeated references to "economic parity" and "social justice" are simply Marxist jargon for "Taking more from you and giving it to others for the common good". Further, noone should be surprised at Obama's proclamation that American is NOT a Christian Nation. This from a man who is a fanatical advocate of the abhorrent procedure of partial-birth-abortions. Although the Obama campaign has painstakingly attempted to lay a smokescreen to confuse the past religious associations of their candidate, hopefully a Christian America will send Obama an unmistakable message in November. It's what you get with an un-vetted candidate whose only skill is reciting a text from a teleprompter while even Jesse Jackson admits Obama arrogantly looks down his nose and "talks down to the audience." A characteristic which was front and center in Obama's comments about bitter folks in Small Town America who "Cling to their religion." Greg Neubeck

Everyone please read the article in today's Wall Street Journal about Obama and Bill Ayers at the Annenberg Challenge in Chicago and it will tell you all you need to know about this child, Obama, and his bent. He is a Stealth Marxist, in bed with a former terrorist and a convicted felon. Again, McCain and John Glenn were CLEARED in the Keating 5 scandal. THEIR NAMES ARE CLEARED. ENOUGH. And Bravo pfb32765 for bringing up the Senate Bill that would have saved America, sponsored by Republicans on the Senate Banking Committee and blocked by Democrats, including Obama who did one of his "Present" votes (Stealth Marxist) to assure a Democrat blockage.

Well, McCain DOES know a little bit about corruption. Oh yes, he was BLAMEless in Keating 5 (huh!) How about their tactics to keep poor people(primarily minorities) from voting? http://michiganmessenger.com/4076/lose-your-house-lose-your-vote)? How about his shameful POW coverup? http://www.thenation.com/doc/20081006/schanberg McCain's record contrasts with promises of reforming Wall Street: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/propublica/mccains-record-contrasts_b_126866.html How about taking over for Caribou Barbie, while allegations of illegality behind the scenes of her administration come out daily? http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-troopergate21-2008sep21,0,2158301.story How about after what we've just gone through economically, still defending deregulating Wall Street? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/22/mccain-defends-deregulati_n_128170.html)? There's many more. These are just a few. You cannot trust a thing the man says.

The economy is a weakness for McCain. He admitted that himself. That's a fact. He will lie, distort, and smear as much as he can in hopes that that American people will forget how incompetent he is on the most important issue to Americans.

Hey Boston tell me what you have seen that supports that the economy is Obama's strength? To me socialist agendas are not the way to fix this country. We will not get into his social and foreign policy weaknesses "liberalism is a mental disorder"

Looks like the Obamanites are working over time to squash the truth. No amount of spin is going to hide the fact that Obama received the second largest donation from Freddie & Fanny within a 3 yr period or his work as a community organizer for ACORN which helped with the housing meltdown or that several CEO of F&F are now working for his campaign. Nah, damn the facts. Let's just keep repeating McSame, McBush, Mcnugget. Obama and the Democrats are finished when people start asking questions and do their own research into what caused this financial meltdown. Oh yeah, also as gas prices continue to rise and Democrats do absolutely nothing their polls will drop even further. We are already seeing this in the Gallup polls as Obama's 6 pt lead is shrinking down to 3. I guess liberals depend on ignorance for people to vote for them. Ignorance is bliss, right liberals? As more people educate themselves and do the research they'll find that all roads lead to Fannie & Freddie and to Obama & the Democrats.
