That's why I vote republican. Too bad we can't convict congress of cowardice.

George Orwell stikes again. This is doublethink. The only thing that will start a war with Iran is for Israel to exercise its option to exist by taking out Iran's nuclear capabilities. Looking at Iran's upcoming elections and economic status, Bush's diplomatic efforts may just succeed with this last push. The Democrats shelved resolution may be forcing Israel to attack. If this occurs and Straits of Hormuz are threatened in conjunction with Chavez following through with cutting off oil to the U.S. (reinforced by Russia's recent partnership and presence in Venezuela) and the Democrats fight against all energy independence, it is hard to determine if the Democrats actions are in the best interests of the U.S. or simply the Democratic Party. They are doing everything in their power to turn this country into a socialist oligarchy.

so the house is going to talk about it, but they are going home without doing anything. Now I remember what we pay most of the members of congress for. Just making a lot of hot air and getting very little done.
