‘Super Size’ with the Simpsons

LOS ANGELES | “The Simpsons” is going to wrap up its 20th anniversary year of celebration with the help of filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.

Fox announced Tuesday that Spurlock will present the hourlong special “The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: in 3-D! on Ice” on Sunday, Jan. 10, at 8:30 p.m. EST. The animated television show debuted on Fox in 1989.

At 8 p.m. EST that night, the series will air its 450th episode, “Once Upon a Time in Springfield,” with guest star Anne Hathaway.

Spurlock is best known for his documentary, “Super Size Me.”
