New in Maryland: Victory Promenade in Landover

Centex Homes is building 316 town homes at Victory Promenade in Landover, Md., within walking distance of the Morgan Boulevard Metro station.

The community includes swimming pools, a tot lot and a community center with a fitness room, a lounge and a reception room with a two-sided fireplace.

The builder is offering closing-cost assistance of $12,000 to $15,000 for buyers.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include low-maintenance vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a one- or two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Inside, all four models feature two to four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths; ceramic tile floors in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; crown moldings; birch cabinets, a pantry and recessed lighting in the kitchen; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; energy-efficient windows; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 1,414 to 2,545 finished square feet, with base prices from $254,990 to $329,990. Homeowner association fees are $90 per month.

The Stratton model, with 1,930 square feet, is priced from $299,990. This home features an entrance on the lower level, which has a recreation room, a closet and a door to the garage.

The main level has an open living and dining room at the front, a half bath and a center-island kitchen at the back that is open to a breakfast area. A sliding glass door leads to a deck.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bath.Two more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level.
