Bowden’s actions probed

Mark Zuckerman has the latest on the FBI’s ongoing investigation of Jim Bowden, the Washington Nationals‘ general manager, on our baseball blog, Chatter.

Bowden briefly spoke to reporters this morning, informing them that the Nationals had released pitcher Odalis Perez.

Bowden then was asked if he had anything to say about the latest report from SI.com.

“Nothing more than I’ve said in the past,” Bowden told the assembled group. “I’m innocent of any wrong-doing, and other than that I have no comment.”
