Overall, the new TiVo is mighty tempting. It’s not Verizon’s set-top box, which means you have to (gasp!) use the phone to order a movie or pay-per-view program instead of the remote. But the Verizon box won’t give you stuff from Netflix, YouTube and, I believe, even your networked computer. And it won’t send recorded programs to your iPod.
