. This is Islam, "the religion of peace", today's news - "A woman hiding among Iranian pilgrims with a bomb strapped under her black robe killed more than three dozen people Sunday outside a Baghdad mosque during ceremonies . . . The suicide attack, the most recent in a series that has killed more than 60 people in less than a week" http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=6572437

I think the rest of the world has been taking their sweet time to stop Hamas. I hope that Israel wipes Hamas off the face of the earth.

The Hamas apologists and supporters revel in the fact that Israel can't prevent Hamas from launching terrorist rocket attacks. No country could, unless they are willing to kill all of the Gazans. Hamas pretends to be civilians, hides in holes, dresses like women, hides weapons for later use, is re-supplied by Iran, etc., and can always make more home-made rockets. All Israel or any country can do is kill as many of the cowardly murderers as they can after an attack, and destroy the bases/command/supply centers that they can locate, as they are doing now.

Where was Sarkozy "the American" (as he was called) when missiles where raining down on Israel. Only when terrorists get their clocks cleaned does he come with his EU delegation to work on a ceasefire. Bah! I hope the Israelis toss him out on his ear.

Palestinians send their children into Israeli schools, busses, restaurants, and supermarkets with bombs strapped to their bodies to kill as many innocent men, women, and children as they possibly can. After the suicide bomber completes their mission of wanton murder of dozens of people the Palestinians dance in the streets and pass out candy celebrating. Palestinians fire hundreds of rockets into Israeli villages and towns trying to murder as many innocent people as possible and when Israel responds Israel is called the aggressor. The aggressors are the people who have murdered thousands of innocents here on 911, in India, Iraq, Israel, England, Spain, Fiji, The Philippines and six different Moslem countries all in the name of Islam against Jews and Christians. The aggressor is not the nation of Israel, a country the size of New Jersey. It is the Palestinians and Moslems who teach their children, from the time they are born, to hate Jews and Christians. Have people forgotten that Israel withdrew every settler and every soldier from Gaza three years ago? What did they get in return? Six thousand rockets fired at their civilians the past three years. Let a terrorist group take over Canada or Mexico and begin firing rockets at American cities and let's see how our government responds. People speak about proportionality as though a country has no right to do whatever it can to stop attacks against its own people. Hamas is sworn to the destruction against the State of Israel and Israel has the right to protect its people by any means possible. Period.

Hamas is causing the deaths of the Palestine people who voted them into office and who took over Gaza by force from Fatah. They started the daily firing of rockets and mortars into Israel not caring where they hit or who was killed showing a total lack of civilization. Hamas was Chartered strictly for the total destrcution of Israel and is openly supported by Iran and Syria for this purpose. Israel has every right and legal right to defend their citizens regardless of Muslim World Opinion and the Liberal Leftists who complain.

How you people can write such criminal stuff and be so full of hatred?... You occupy the land, kill the children and on the top of that tell so much lies?...You really scare the whole international community...

Human rights organizations warned of a burgeoning humanitarian crisis in Gaza. And what do the "human rights" groups ever say about terrorists firing rockets into Israel?

Point to ponder: Where are the Iranian & Syrian armies? They sure do talk a big game about supporting their Palestinian brethren, but when the IDF gets involved, these clown are noticeably ABSENT from the field of battle. Gee...wonder why that is? Maybe b/c they'd last about 3 days...tops. Its time for the "average" Palestinians to get good & tired of these Hamaas punk-thugs causing so much misery for them. Does anyone in their right mind think that Israel would've planned this lil field trip if there HADN'T been any random rocket fire into its cities & towns? How would the sissy libs & Euro anti Semites feel if someone fired over 6,000 randomly aimed rockets into THEIR cushy suburban neighborhoods over the course of a year? Think they'd dig that? Are people of that ilk even capable of thinking outside the box like that & put themselves in Israeli shoes BEFORE putting themselves in the TERRORIST'S shoes? Most assuredly NOT! If they WERE capable of such a thought, they'd decry Hamaas for bringing this war on Palestinians through it's actions.

To Zahra: . When is enough enough? You Hamas supporters are out again in force condemning Israel. You can bring up old news clips from a couple of years ago and see and hear the very same talking points. Some things never change. If Palestine wants peace, get rid of the terrorists, Hamas, then you can work for peace with Israel. Why do the terrorist always cover their faces if they are so proud. If I was as big a coward killing women and children and cutting people’s heads off, I think I would also hide my face. I want to see peace and if the world leaves it up to the Israeli and the Palestinian people to work it out together, maybe they can achieve real peace and prosperity for both peoples! These terror groups attack and when they are retaliated against scream for the world to call for a cease fire to save their pathetic butts once again. When is enough enough?

To Zahra: Would your friends be so kind? I think not! Humanitarian Aid Reaching Gaza by Hana Levi Julian (IsraelNN.com) Shipments of humanitarian aid to Gaza resumed Monday after a two-day pause to allow the entry of ground troops into the region in Stage Two of Operation Cast Lead. Some 200,000 liters of heavy diesel fuel are being pumped through the Nahal Oz terminal, enough for the Gaza power station and other humanitarian needs as well. The depot was closed for the last week due to security concerns that blocked Israel's ability to operate the crossing, notably terrorist attacks aimed specifically at personnel manning the terminal.

They have been fighting this "holy" war for hundreds of years. We need to stay out. Problem here is that there are too many Arab Americans and Jewish Americans that forget they are AMERICANS. If you love, so much, these countries your families ran from, then get on a plane and go fight with the rest. Many of us are tired of this ongoing crying here in the states

TyinPS. Many Jewish & Arab Americans feel strongly about this. The fact of the matter is that this mess DOES affect all of us here. Oil prices gyrate wildly when stuff like this happens, in case you didn't notice. I agree that the 2 sides have been killing each other for HUNDREDS of years. Even BEFORE the creation of the State of Israel. When Hamas realizes that tried & true philosophy of living in peace w/your neighbors works better than that of trying to kill your neighbors, then maybe this crap will cease. Until then, the rockets will keep flying, the mush minded suicide bombers will still kill indescriminately, & Israel will continue to fight back. Would any nation on Earth do less? As for "countries our families ran from", many of the Jewish people I know, & myself as well, had families that ran from OTHER countries, far away from the Holy Land, BEFORE Israel existed. Maybe you didn't hear, but about 6 million of them didn't get a chance to run from those places. Tell us again, please, why we need to be quiet about this? Brush up on your history (the REAL stuff, not that revisionist drivel) & you'll see that almost NO group in history has been persecuted more harshly for such a long time than Jews. Forgive us if we get a lil sensitive when thugs in this day & age tell Israel doesn't have the right to exist & the world tells Israel they can't defend themselves.

. Dec. 27, thousands of Gazans received Arabic-language cell-phone messages from the Israeli military, urging them to leave homes where militants might have stashed weapons. Israel is so scrupulous about civilian life that, risking the element of surprise, it contacts enemy noncombatants in advance to warn them of approaching danger. Hamas, which started this conflict with unrelenting rocket and mortar attacks on unarmed Israelis — 6,464 launched from Gaza in the last three years — deliberately places its weapons in and near the homes of its own people. It's a recurring theme. Israel gave similar warnings to Southern Lebanese villagers before attacking Hezbollah in the Lebanon war of 2006. The Israelis did this knowing it would lose for them the element of surprise and cost the lives of their own soldiers. That is the asymmetry of means between Hamas and Israel. But there is equal clarity regarding the asymmetry of ends. Israel has but a single objective in Gaza — peace: the calm, open, normal relations it offered Gaza when it withdrew in 2005. Doing something never done by the Turkish, British, Egyptian and Jordanian rulers of Palestine, the Israelis gave the Palestinians their first sovereign territory ever in Gaza. What ensued? This is not ancient history. Did the Palestinians begin building the state that is supposedly their great national aim? No. No roads, no industry, no courts, no civil society at all. The flourishing greenhouses that Israel left behind for the Palestinians were destroyed and abandoned. Instead, Gaza's Iranian-sponsored rulers have devoted all their resources to turning it into a terror base — importing weapons, training terrorists, building tunnels with which to kidnap Israelis on the other side. And of course firing rockets unceasingly. The grievance? It cannot be occupation, military control or settlers. They were all removed in September 2005. There's only one grievance and Hamas is open about it. Israel's very existence. Nor does Hamas conceal its strategy. Provoke conflict. Wait for the inevitable civilian casualties. Bring down the world's opprobrium on Israel. Force it into an untenable cease-fire — exactly as happened in Lebanon. Then, as in Lebanon, rearm, rebuild and mobilize for the next round. Perpetual war. Since its raison d'etre is the eradication of Israel, there are only two possible outcomes: the defeat of Hamas or the extinction of Israel. - CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/editorial/outlook/6191902.html
