Forrest

What's the matter Wes - don't like who the voters from Minnesota have chosen as their Senator? Don't like the constitutional process invoked when election are very close? Don't like the Judicial process which validates the process? Sounds like sour grapes - and rather clumsily stated at that.

Minnesota is the new Chicago.

Forrest, I am betting that you still live with your Mom, right.

Franken will never be a real Senator just like B O will never be a real President because of these stolen elections. B O isn't even sworn in yet and he is in his 3rd or 4th scandal already. Can you say "impeachment"?

And Pruden didn't even have to go into ACRON in Minnesota or the Soros' funding to put rabid partisans in as Secretary of State in the battelground states. Franken was never a funny comic but he now has found his true calling in life - being the straight guy to Joe "Stand Up Chuck!" Biden. Predition: the next election in Minnesota will be the World Wrestling Federation's Smackdown 2010 presided over by Jesse Ventura and Jimmy "blue ink finger" Carter.

Franken BAD, Dem party politics in MN managed illegally and this Hollywood type personna will simply snear at his constituency as the MN people will be without representation for six years. I am not a fan of any politician but this election smells worse then a 3 day old catch on a summer dock.

Forrest, AnnCoulter has pinpointed the liberal left. You victimize everyone you can, and cry victim if you don't like the outcome. If Coleman had come out the winner in this "constitutional process," would you still be claiming it an honest election? I doubt it!

As astutely already pointed out by previous commenters, something is very rotten and crooked up north. Maybe Minnesota & Illinois are racing to see which one can replace Louisiana for tops in corruption. How Coleman went from over 200 votes in the lead to lagging in 200 votes behind Franken must have taken some very creative math. Al Gore is probably wishing that the 2000 election tie had hinged in Minnesota instead of Florida since obviously local officials in Minnesota are much more willing to cherry pick selective recounts in Democrat counties and doublecount on behalf of Democrat candidates. The fix is in on this one.

While I agree with the premise of the article, Mr. Pruden is incorrect in one fact. "being a Democrat in Dixie was all but against the law in the aftermath of the Civil War." Actually being a Republican, like that yankee rascal Mr. Lincoln was enough to get you shunned by your family. Although Southerners are generally conservative, we have a very long memory and the War of Northern Aggression kept Democrats in power in the south for nearly 100 years.

Funny how Democrats are always in favor of "every vote counts" when the tally is in their favor... Bet Forrest, though, is still smarting over how George Bush "stole" the 2000 election.

This needs to be investigated, and every crooked member of the canvassing board should be put behind bars.

The Air-American funding scandal alone is enough to impeach Franken, after his comic history. The Senate JESTER is not a humorous guy!

It's amazing how people like Forrest can see facts such as 25 precincts with more votes cast than voters, and claim that the election is "constitutional". And how one precinct counts extra votes not present on election night, and another doesn't. I realize the Gore vs. Bush ruling by the SCOTUS was targeted at that specific case only, but it seems to me that one of the concepts that came out of it (that the rules be uniform throughout the state) should have been the general rule, anyway. IF this goes as far as the SCOTUS, I wouldn't be surprised to see a new election take place. But that's only IF the Republicans have the cojones to take it that far.

What has not been said is that if Coleman was such a great Senator, why is he in this position to begin with? Hopefully, the Minnesota Supreme Court will resolve all of the outstanding issues and end all of the Republican whining about letting this one get away.

(Emerson: "a foolish consistency..." ) Oh, and Al Franken is here by mistake. On earth, I mean. Lucky us. The pod person program has higher standards than this.
