I was thinking the same thing about Ap when it said Hamas responded to Israel's attacks. Could it be the other way around possibly. The MSM is increasingly distorting their reporting rather than just biasing it like they used to. No wonder so many news orgs. are dying.

So Israel is urged to respect world opinion and put its faith in the international community, but Israel exists only because of the bitter conclusion that world opinion could not be relied upon to protect the Jews Terrorists who cannot live peacefully with their neighbors must be stripped of the power to disturb them.

I'm curious as to why the arab world doesn't see Hamas using civilians as shields and is not angry at this tactic. It's obvious to most observers. The AP, MSM don't appear to be interested in the facts either. They seem to be slanted to the arab murderers/cowards. The terror groups have been shelling Israel for years now and now Israel is fighting back and people are upset. Wouldn't they fight back in the same situation. Ronberg

Ronberg, it appears to me that most of the Arab world cares very little for the Palestinians, none have offered to allow them to immigrate. The Israelis should use bigger bombs, and resolve the Hamas problem quickly, before they are forced to end this campaign. The UN is still an anti-American, anti-Israeli organization which should be radically reformed or dissolved.

Instead of calling complete withdrawal of Hamas from Gaza, UN stand surprises all. In Gaza , there are only two genuine parties : Palestine people and Israel . Hamas is an outsider deputed by Iranian Jihadi Masters. Using gunpoint they terrorize Palestine people seize their power as what Afgan_ and Pak_Taliban is doing. There is no peace in middle east so long as Hamas waging jihad war.The root cause of the trouble is Hamas and theyshould quit the Gaza immediately

The points made by Prakash would be sound, except that the Gazans elected Hamas to rule them, and to represent them in the PA government. Therefore, there are NO innocent Gazans, only the children of the guilty. Isreal should put all of them on boats, and float them to France. Then we can see how compassionate the Europeans are when the French give them a homeland from French soil -- including half of Paris. BTW: A Palestinian homeland already exists: Jordan, which is more than 60% Palestinian. Why haven't the Jordanians taken in their "oppressed" brethren?

Years of rocket fire...sound like the Israelis are pretty tolerant...

Peace will return to the Middle East only when the Lord Jesus returns to Jerusalem and sets up His millenial kingdom (for those who are interested, read Revelation Chapters 19 through 20 -- at www.BibleGateway.com). All man-centered efforts will continue to fail as they have for the past 4,000 years -- since Abraham conceived Ishmael with Hagar. The BEST thing we can do is to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for the Return of the King of Kings. Only then will the world see lasting and true peace. Maranatha -- THEN: Shalom!

MindTinker, You give me way too much credit. It's not my own insight -- it is God's -- I simply read the Bible and believe what it says. The re-establishment of the nation of Israel at the stroke of a pen in 1948 after nearly 2,000 years of diaspora is a clear fulfillment of the prophecies of Isaiah (Isaiah 66:8), Ezekiel (Ezekiel 37), and Paul (Romans 11). I am also mindful that Jesus said clearly, "No one knows the day or the hour" (Matthew 24:36), but He also said "when you see all these things you know that it is near, right at the door" (Matthew 24:33) These passages are simply the tip of the iceburg of Biblical prophecy regarding the end times. But, in answer to your question -- yes, I do believe the stage is being set for His return. How about you, MindTinker -- are you looking for, and cherishing, His return?
