The real Question is will the Illinois Senate convict him or does he have enough on them to be impeached but not convicted ala Bill Clinton. Even so this will not change the corruption of Illinois/Chicago politics just as Richardson's problems won't change the corruption of New Mexico. It'll just make them all hide it a little better.

No choice for the democrats on this one. In the time frame from Dec 9 to the present they were simply dotting i's and crossing t's. At least the Illinois State Supreme Court got it right on Senator Burrus on the Constitional issure. (But that takes no brains either for anyone who actually reads the Consitution.) I would not count on those bozos in the Ill. legislature to do anything right.
