Shanghaied

Business as usual. Let's just keep voting them in.

Poor article. No details on why or who the republicans were who decided with the libs on this issue. Why was there no or very little debate on the floor? Primarily considering the republicans decided with the majority w/o the full debate. I am suspicious of the these republicans who side [behind closed doors] with the libs. Too often the libs hide behind closed doors to construct [and finalize] a bill. The libs are practicing a MONARCHY here and I am standing against this attitude of their self indulgent power grab. MORE LIBS = MORE SOCIALISM!

No details on where the 2 million acres is or what comprises it. How much land is government owned vs private owned? Each bit of land that goes into public ownership goes off tax role. How much will it cost? These are just minor details? If we can buy these lands, then we can afford to compensate landowners when we take interest in their land for "public use" as the fifth amendment proscribes. You have to define "use" to be "ownership" to not compensate. Kinda like "is".

Don't you remember when the Supreme Court issued that ruling not long ago about eminent domain? Well, just combine this Big Gov't land grab with that and you get an idea of what the Communists who now run Congress have in mind. Welcome to The Communist States of America. Thank you lobotomized Obama rump swab voters. Learn about the illegal Kenyan Muslim mulatto con man who would be "president"...unbelievable! www.obamaforgery.com www.obamacrimes.com www.wnd.com

See below link for list of how each Senator voted: http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=1&vote=00001 According to the C-SPAN coverage this weekend, there are 45 earmarks in this package. It's a shame that only 12 Senators are willing to stand up to the Washington "old-boy" spending fraternity. And, this vote comes less than 1 week after Sens. Feingold and McCaskill stood up with Sens. Coburn and McCain in announcing legislation to fight earmarks.

Onething

Senate will only fight earmarks and bills Republicans sponsor. All others are welcome. Hooray for socialism. Insert hammer and sickle symbol here.

Money should be spent on SAVING the forest. PINE BEETLES are killing the trees. Dead trees = Forest Fires; Forest fires = erosion & no snowpack; no snowpack = no water. Designated wilderness areas mean reduced access to fight the forest fires. So, in combating the forest's greatest enemy...the beetle we NEED ACCESS vote NO to WILDERNESS!!!!!!!! Save a Forest maintain access.
