I think the title of this article should be "Abid Noor doesn't leave home without AK-47s", simply because author fails to give an estimate of what fraction of Pakistanis carry licensed weapon when going to work. Using one person's experience and generalizing it for population of 172 million is not only inaccurate but also dishonest. I would agree that there are significant number of unlicensed weapons in Pakistan, but to say that ordinary people are now carrying for their safety is not correct. Having been lived in Pakistan, I can say that carrying a weapon (AK-47 in this case) is no guarantee that you will be safe.

it is apparent that pakistan is committing suicide by encouraging these marauders and terrorists like al- qaeda,l-e-t,taliban and several others which have no names .it is dying a cruel death.the people of pakistan are on the verge of being killed by these cruels.but their govt is incapacited and totally a slaves of the military. Pakistani army should know that the people of pakistan would never forgive them if they would be victims of the non governance.if these terrorists can kill their own bretherns and also attack indian in india why the pak army is shielding them?if the pak army is not involved in any such types of crimes on humanity in pak or in india it should crush them and kill them but the army is not taking any such action which creates suspicions on the minds of world leaders.we indian are totally peace loving but also wouldnot tolerate the mischievous pak army, isi and the taliban, let and alqaeda. America should acknowledge the facts and also deal strongly with pak army and force them to crush these elements inside the pakistan and not shield and support them.now they are making a fool of india but it should not forget that it would be in loss for the misdeeds of these so called non state elements.when they would take over any such nuclear installation and attack/nuke any country on earth, they would not only be liquidated but also the whole of pakistan would be liquidated.so it is imperative that these elements shouldnot be given any support or shield by the isi or army of pak.for world peace America should take strong and visible action on these elements.

One would think a good Glock with about three magazines would be better in close quarters ,or even a sawed-off shotgun ,less clumbersome ,you can fit it under your robe( do they have concealed carry over there ?) but they are on the right track.
