WASHINGTON — Metro says a man who was struck and killed at the Forest Glen station was on the tracks intentionally.
The transit agency says the man was hit by an eight-car red line train shortly after 4 p.m. Metro did not have any additional information about the man.
Metro says trains are sharing a single track between Forest Glen and Silver Spring, and that passengers should expect delays throughout rush hour.
Trains in the area already are running slower than usual as investigators work to determine the cause of last week’s train crash that killed nine people.
