Brookfield Homes Corp. is building 60 town homes at Melody Landing in Woodbridge, a community with a swimming pool, clubhouse, fitness center and conference room. Walking trails, bike paths, golf courses and shopping centers are nearby.

Each home in this Prince William County community will include 5-inch maintenance-free vinyl siding, decorative shutters, professional landscaping and a one-car garage.

Inside, each home features three levels with two to four bedrooms, 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; crown moldings; hardwood floors, 42-inch oak cabinets and a pantry in the center-island kitchen; a walk-in closet in the master suite, a high-tech wiring system, high-efficiency central air conditioning and gas heat and hot water.

The Symphony town homes have about 1,500 to 2,500 finished square feet, with base prices from $252,990. Homeowner association fees are $135 per month.

Each home features a lower-level foyer entrance with a door to the garage. At the back, buyers can finish a recreation room or a bedroom with a closet and a full bath. The lower level also has closet space and a closet for a stacked washer and dryer.

The main level has a center-island kitchen and breakfast area, a powder room, a central dining room and a living room.

Upstairs, the master suite has two closets and a private full bath with an oversized shower with a seat. A second bedroom with a walk-in closet and a private full bath complete this level.

Options include a finished lower level, decks and room extensions.
