ISLAMABAD (AP) - Police say an explosion has killed three people and wounded several more just south of the Pakistani capital.

Police officer Sardar Maqsood says the blast occurred Monday outside the main bus terminal in the city of Rawalpindi.

Maqsood says it is unclear what caused the blast. Unconfirmed television reports say the explosion was caused by a bomb planted in a car.
