PEORIA, ARIZ. (AP) - Russell Branyan homered, Adrian Beltre had two hits and the Seattle Mariners beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 in a split-squad game on Monday.

Erik Bedard pitched one inning for the Mariners in his first outing since March 5. The left-hander, who had been sidelined with sore buttocks, allowed one run and two hits.

Hiroki Kuroda gave up two runs, one earned, and seven hits in 3 1-3 innings for Los Angeles. The right-hander struck out one and walked one.
