Waldorf Volkswagen/Suburu holding grand opening gala

Some smart moves have come out of this tough economic time for the auto industry. One person with a discerning eye for filling a void in customer service is Wes Greenway, the owner of Alexandria Volkswagen with a stellar reputation based on providing years of dedicated service to the Alexandria area.

Greenway is now taking his reputation to Waldorf, Md.

He has purchased Southern Volkswagen/Subaru and is inviting the community to join him at a grand opening celebration on Saturday.

There will be many activities for both the young and young at heart; including a moon bounce, food vendors, a live band and Volkswagen and Subaru treats for all.

Race car driver A.J. Nealey will be greeting friends and race fans at the grand opening. Mr. Nealey who in 2008, won eight races in the Mid Atlantic Road Racing Series was selected to join the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup racing team.

Greenway was raised in Waldorf and lived there for more than 30 years. His parents and sisters still live in Waldorf and area. When asked to describe his hometown area in a couple of words, he said with exuberance, “Friendly and welcoming!”

Volkswagen and Subaru products are known for their reliability, safety and resale value: The team at Waldorf Volkswagen/Subaru is committed to reliability, customer service and offering a relaxed atmosphere at the new dealerships.

In addition to this weekend’s open house, Waldorf Volkswagen/Subaru is participating in the areas major air shows later this month: the Andrews AFB show, May 16th - 17th featuring the Thunderbirds and the Naval Air Station show, May 23rd - 24th featuring the Blue Angels.
