New in Maryland: Oak Creek in Upper Marlboro

Craftmark Homes Inc. is building single-family homes at Oak Creek in Upper Marlboro, a gated country club community with a private golf course, pool and club, tennis courts, a lake and shuttle service to Metro.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include a brick front, a brick or stone stoop, a steeply pitched roof, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all nine models feature four or five bedrooms; 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths; hardwood floors; 9-foot ceilings; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile floors; a luxury master bath; a high-tech wiring system; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 2,748 to 5,136 finished square feet, with base prices from $444,900 to $619,900. Homeowner association fees are $450 per quarter, plus a $50 initiation fee and one-time golf fee of $250.

The Clifton model, with 3,847 square feet, is priced from $499,900. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by columns leading into the living room and dining room.

The main level has a library, a family room, a breakfast area and kitchen, a walk-in pantry and a half bath.

Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets, an optional wet bar and a luxury bath. Three more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level.

Options include finished lower levels, finished attic space, sunrooms, morning rooms, bay windows and room extensions.
