(AP) — Police have made an arrest in the case of a 9-year-old boy who was fatally shot when a bullet pierced the door of his northwest Washington, D.C., home.
D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier and Mayor Adrian Fenty planned to announce the arrest Tuesday morning in the Columbia Heights neighborhood in which Oscar Fuentes was shot.
The boy was shot just after 10 p.m. Saturday. It’s not clear why the gun was fired into the second-floor apartment door.
