WASHINGTON — Safety investigators are interviewing the three flight attendants from the Northwest Airlines plane that overflew its Minneapolis destination by 150 miles.
National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Ted Lopatkiewicz confirmed the flight attendant interviews Monday. Investigators interviewed the Northwest flight’s pilots on Sunday in Minnesota.
The pilots told the NTSB the same account they had given authorities after they eventually landed in Minneapolis — that they had been talking about airline policy and lost track of their situation, a source familiar with the interviews told Associated Press. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the incident was still under investigation.
NTSB said the pilots were going over scheduling on laptop computers while plane overflew Minneapolis, according to Associated Press.
